Root Text Messages Wont Sort

Hello I have a rooted 2.2 DX, and on 2.1 when I got a new text it would jump to the top of the list with a blue dot next to it. Now ever since I upgraded to 2.2 I still get the blue dot next to my unread text messages but it doesn't jump to the top of the list.

I don't know if that is just how froyo works now or if it's an issue just on my phone. Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
I'm not sure on this either, but I did notice this. I use Handcent, so I thought it may be an issue with 2.2 & Handcent...
 
I just upgraded to Froyo. I typically use ChompSMS. Both Chomp and the stock app won't sort new messages after installing 2.2. And Chomp won't display new incoming messages. It only shows what I've sent so I'm back to using the stock app for now.

ditto....and I was having failures sending MMS with handcent

Judging from comments on Handcent, this seems to be an issue with Handcent, the 2.2 upgrade and is happening on multiple devices. For this reason, I too have gone back to default messaging app...

this is happening on default SMS App not just hancent, if anyone knows a fix please let me know. I doubt there is because its not in the obvious options/settings section.

i think its just a froyo think my droid 1 does the same thing.
 
If this issues is like the leaks, than it it was the time stamp. When I get a new message it is like 3 hours behind so it is at the top. When I reply it is the correct time, so this keeps messing it up.
 
is there a fix? would a factory reset do the trick and if so, how do i get launcher pro back because i have the paid version?
 
I am having the same issue on my Droid X and did a factory reset this weekend and it did not fix the messaging has anyone found how to fix it??
