Help Text notification ringtone won't die

I downloaded a Halloween ringtone back in Oct for my notifications. Since Nov. I've been trying to change it but it's being difficult. It will use the new tone once and then revert back to the Halloween one. I don't know how to get rid of the darn thing!

Open up file explorer. Go to sdcard/media /audio /ringtones. Delete

is that an app or a feature of the phone?

if app, is that the exact name?

You will need to install a file explorer, I don't think stock has one. Try ES File Explorer.

There are many good, free file managers on the market. Androzip, ES File Explorer (my fave), File Expert, etc. Any will do the job. Also, you can use them to place new mp3's in the location Andy mentioned for custom notifications all your own.

^This. Find one you like and that works the way you want it to. That goes for any kind of app where you have many options to choose from. Whatever works for you.
