Help TEXT notification will not go away. Help

[tarheelalum]

Hey everybody. I've had 2.3.3 since it came out and I use to have the voicemail notification way back then. Fixed it and its been trouble free ever since. About 5 days ago I got a text notification that will not go away. I've searched the net with no relief. Anybody know how to fix this?

I believe something like Handcent from the market can block the text

I've deleted the text from the phone but this particular text from a buddy of mine has just attached itself to the screen when you first turn the phone off sleep. Its like a virus or something. It won't go the hell away.
