Root Texting error

OK I have the BZ's rom 07012011 but before that I had playfulgods and the knockoff guy rom whatever his name is and Issacj87's and since i had these roms when I send a short text it go through fine but when I send along message it go through literally as chicken scratch,

Example: bdjchejxi fhdjdbcbei vgdhddj 3-$-%-%-%;$; jejdjdjdbekfbf djdbcbenb jdbcc%+'; gjxjcndbxksjxhnjsk djfbeehdkcn. Dhxhdjdj fjdjdnxnxndk djdnejw %"-";$; dkehfhi djfjfjwk 4+diem %8fj +%/3krjcn fjfjfjebdje dbdjskksoxh rjeiwyru.

That's what it literally look like why is it doing that when I type a long message and how do I fix it?

convert it to mms instead of sms.

If you're on CRICKET,you have to select SPLIT SMS in MESSAGING>SETTINGS when sending long SMS texts.
For some reason,CM7 messaging doesn't automatically convert long (160+ characters) messages from SMS to MMS the same way that stock 2.1 SMS/MMS does.
Any kind of fix for this on the horizon,PG,& is this the same on METRO PCS?

For some reason,CM7 messaging doesn't automatically convert long (160+ characters) messages from SMS to MMS the same way that stock 2.1 SMS/MMS does.
Any kind of fix for this on the horizon,PG,& is this the same on METRO PCS?

When I used my ascend I had to set it to splt text's msg's over the 160 limit to even send em. Its the same with metro, and at this time I dont know a fix for it.
