Root Texting for CM10.1 mod

Have you ever tried Go sms pro? That has always been an alternative in the past for CM roms. I just like it cause you can theme it. Just another suggestion. ;)

Hmm..that still requires data though right? In the rom that we have now we are unable to text. So wifi is our second option!:)
 
Go SMS Pro is free, and last time I tried it on cm it didn't send the messages. I didn't mess with the settings though.
 
Did you try the Texter app? The description sounds like it might work, but it FC's on stock.

Also, Contacts + app says it only for other Contacts + users...

i tried them both..and they both worked on me. I'm using stock though because i use 4g more then anything else so..yea. It's just wierd that it does not work for you guys though? :confused:
 
Use pinger. My phone has been off for quite a while now and pinger & text free have saved my life more than handful of times.

The texter app didnt work at first because something kept popping up.all i did was hit the back button after it popped up again. I dont know if that helps?

Texting won't work at all on the alpha, any of the betas should have no problem.
 
So confused... I got Texter to stay open by hitting menu and settings before it had a chance to FC. But... it doesn't send SMS. Same as stock...
