Root Texts not sending

My texts stopped sending yesterday. I can still receive texts fine, but I get the red triangle when I go to send one. I am running Beanstalk ROM. I restored a nandroid to an old Sense ROM and updated the PRL through settings and texts were working fine. Now that I'm back on Beanstalk they are no longer sending. Any ideas..?

Thanks guys.

How did you switch back to Beanstalk after updating prl (and profile) on sense? Restore +wipe dalvik and cache (not data)?

I did a nandroid restore. I'm under the impression that the PRL doesn't change across those, but am I wrong?

Thanks guys. No dice so far, though. I updated both PRL and profile.

I'm running 4.3, beanstalk 4.3.075

Any other thoughts? I may do a clean wipe although I really dislike doing that.

Who is your carrier it maybe a outage in your area . check the permission of the MMS apk . I had this problem I pulled the battery while the phone was on kept battery out for 5minutes placed back in and was texting away

I appreciate the suggestion - and I figured it was a network issue at first too - but the fact that I can flash a Sense ROM and have texts start working again suggests it is not a network issue.

is only with this rom? have you tried other aosp roms?

It seems to be with just this ROM and only recently. I've been running the ROM for a while with no problems.

Well I decided to just wipe everything and do a fresh install. Texts are working just fine now. A bit of a pain but glad to have it working again. Thanks for the suggestions, everyone.

Awesome you're back up, sucks you had to wipe tho.

I do a fresh install with any Rom I flash, and if I'm having strange issues in between Roms, I've wiped it clean too. Strange things have been known to happen in between all those 1s and 0s. Sometimes it's just best to start with a clean slate. :)

Yeah, I've honestly run into problems with most AOSP roms on this phone. They seem to be quite unstable for me; random reboots, freezes, etc. I still much prefer them to Sense, though, so I put up with the quirks.
