Oh yeh, the cute phone cases. :) They're like everywhere, pink is a favourite colour, often with hearts, flowers, rabbits, as well. Can get just about every cartoon character there is. Think just about every student has a phone, most of them Android of course.

We've had school sports competition for the past 3 days, but the students often want to take their photos with their teacher anyway. So there's a load of phones being held up and pointed, which I thought was worth a photo in itself. :D
 
Spotted these at the local cheapo electronics and purveyor of general tat store. LED water fountain speakers. The water pulsating and spurting to the beat of the music, isn't that cool?

My little princess, Joy Noelle, on her favorite chair. Her favorite color is pink, and she loves towels, so I've put a pink towel on her favorite chair. :) And look what she's resting her little head on...

Can you see it? The pillow has her name on it! And it's very befitting a little princess--red velvet with gold piping and embroidery spelling out her name. :D (Actually, it's a Christmas decoration--but don't tell her.)

I feel really honoured because our niece (12) asked if we would write in her friendship album. I dusted off my collection of pictures for it (collected quite a few when I was her age), and the poems are selected. We need to work on our handwriting first now, before we are worthy of claiming our pages in her album :o

Wooow I forgot how cool this thread is!

Well I got a cool photo for you Yankies! :-)

After helping some one with her homework after an hour or 2 or so and I walked outside and saw that the super "lighties" (lol! :D future trollers / youngsters) had built a sort of fort of chairs! :D:D:D

All I had was a cheap Made In China camera on my cell phone by Chinese slave labour on me so I used that! :)

It was waaaaaay too awesome for words - so I just had to take a shot! :D

They used all the chairs up in the school about 60 or so chairs - let's just say I cam home late that night about 1 hour later packing them all away - TOTALLY worth it though to see them smile and have fun! ;)

This was the first thing that ran through my mind when I saw it and I jokingly screamed it out like that lunatic does in the movie but jokingly spitting a everywhere like a crazy! :)

They all laughed because they knew exactly what I was referring too!

I'm used to it as well Stinky, no getting away from it I'm afraid...even this friggin' post was Made in China by a slave....a slave to myself. :)

Ah....but do your Made in China chairs last longer than our Made in China chairs? Do the bolts fall out periodically or welding comes apart from time to time....serves me right for being so cheapo I guess. :rolleyes:

* note to self, next time buy real Herman Miller and not fake. *

Anyway China Inc. is closed for business this week. So if you want your chairs or cheap cameras or novelty PC speakers or Chinapads, you're gonna have to wait. :p
 
Alas...summer is gone. Took this on Friday after getting home from work...it's the last of our phlox blooms which are fading away as they give way to the gray, dreary, wet Washington winter. So sad. Galaxy S4 ("HDR" mode).

Left is herb oil, tomatoes (from a coworkers garden), bell peppers, red onions, sausage, mozz and parm reggiano.
Right is herb oil, potatoes, chili flakes, mozz, parm, basil.
Both were just fantastic. Our oven can crank out some amazing bread, but just as good pizza. :)
I made a biga preferment for the dough and finished it this morning. Felt really sticky and a bit wet, but shaped up beautifully and turned out well.

Just a quick snapshot with my GS3 @ 7.00 in the morning. I was packing my bag for the office. Had it lying in the middle of the dining table. Apparently kitty wants to come too.

wait!!!whaaaat???? ... at first I thought it was artichoke hearts....but potatoes? um...YUM!!!!!!!!!!! What kind?Do you par boil the potatoes first?? Chili flakes? is that Red pepper chili flakes? I LOVE red pepper flakes and fresh basil on my pizza! OMG! Hahaha...I'm so exited to try this!!! It looks so good!:D

ever try brick cheese?? it's great on pizza:)

Eh, we're gonna start to take this elsewhere! ;)
Potatoes, yeah they were New potatoes a coworker bought these in. Really small and waxy; what we call "boiling potatoes". I sliced them as thin as possible and soaked them in hot tap water with lots of salt for some time (~1hour). With most other potatoes, I'd slice them larger, ~1/8", and par-boil them in salted water for about a minute or two.
Put those on a pie with pesto, carmelized onions, chili flake and cheese of your choice.
Most importantly, give me a call when you do and let me know when it'll be ready. ;):D
