The Best Media Player!

Brilliant, I've been looking for a decent media player for HTC desire-it sreally is limited in the music stakes. Good stuff :D

I saw mention that poweramp expires? After how long? Is there a paid version? Can someone post a link to it? Cheers

Why can't I see album art when playing a track, they all come up when the albums are in the main list  other than that its a nice music player

I tried to delete the old version (68) so I could install the new version (113), can't do it! Can anyone tell me how to delete it? When I view my phones files on the computer it's gone but it's still on my phone even after restarting.

It should just uninstall normally. I use an app called uninstaller but should just be able to do it from settings. What happens when you try to install the neweer version?

I'm pretty sure I just installed over the top of the old version.

Installed it and been playing round with it for the last hour. LOVE IT!!!!!
Have tried about 5 other MP3 players on my Desire, and PowerAmp is hands-down the best.

Thanks for the help. Deleted in settings and now have new version. Still can't get any files found on a scan though. How do I do that.

go into the players settings and select music folders and select the folder with your music in

I do love it. But don't have memory room for it...

Also would only have it a few weeks it said when I first opened. I'll look again when its fully launched. It is the best music app I've seen though.

Just downloaded it from teh Market and it looks good on first tinkering. Looking forward to the full "pay" version, and I hope the developers aren't stupid enough to end userability of the trial version before the pay version is available. That, methinks, would be sucide in this competitive area.

Just installed the trial version of powerAmp, its very good, and smaller than mixzing as well so, I may switch for a while. Its very pretty and seems to work well so far.

I had one crash - when I was playing music and paired a BT headset. Sent the crash log, so hopefully that'll get fixed on release. Will definitely buy this on release.

Not had one crash yet...Touching wood :p

Had this for over a week now and still better than any of the others I've tried. So damn loud and the music quality is awesome!

I have the beta which says it will expire in a few weeks. How long is that exactly? My country doesn't has access to paid apps so the only solution for me is to find a ripped version somewhere.

What country are you? There can't be many left who can't get paid apps now can there?

Brilliant player, loud and easy to use, thanks for the linky Jay Kay,
only complaint is the widget, too damn small. why no widget like htc one, big, half screen ??????

If you have a Desire the widget can be similar to the half screen/3 x 1 options. Go to + button on home screen, press widgets, then scroll down for poweramp, here you will see at least 3 options for how it can appear on your screen. I got this info from a friend, so thanks to him for that...
