Root The easiest custom splash screen process for all android users

Ok thank you so you cant do this through FTP right. And so what was the purpose of that stupid tool that didnt work in thr first place
 
Well if you read through the easiest custom splash screen creator. It says that you need this tool to create the I m g file.
 
The only way to make a tru img file is to use a script called nbimg... which this tool does for you. If you just simply put Img on the end of this file Without letting the tool do its job then your file is not going to work

Ok so than how am I suppose to make this work then. Why is nbimg tool not working

I did Iam telling you my tool doesnt work. When you put in the the image into the tool folder like it says it doesnt do anything.
 
Just so you know that tool was designed to not only make the file but also push it to your phone through adb. However with the newer evos out there the hboot versions don't allow this. But the tool will still make the I m g file

Iam not talking about using it to push it just to make thw proper change on the picture which it doesnt do. And itrie one from xda and here.
 
Well if it did not convert your file then there is something wrong with your file .. because the tool works I have made many splash screens with it and u will see in the thread other people have as well. I will make a youtube video of it tomorrow. And post it here. Or you can reread the process. And start from scratch. Just post back when your not sure of something and I'll answer
 
Did you extract the tool all to one folder so both bat files and some other stuff are in that folder... then put your SPLASH.bmp in that folder with everything else and run it?

I think but Iam not sure. There is Nbign, Fastboot, Text document, and the RUN THIS ONE MS DOS Batch File.

Did you make the youtube vid yet
 
Are all those files in the same folder if they are good you're supposed to put your. Bmp file in there then click "run this one"

Yes I did that and like I said this is the problem Iam been having since I downloaded the tool and tried this. it opens says press any key to continue and when I do it doesnt do anything
 
Yo I am on my phnoe right now .. ill be home in an hour. But it should ask u do u want to convert a bmp to img or an img to bmp....try to re down load it and go through the same process. It might be the download was bad or its not doing any thing cause your bmp file is not correct .... if after u re down load and try it again and it still dont work then it has to be your file.... when I get home I will walk u through how to make it

No problem thanks bro. But there really isnt anyting I can seriously be doing worng in the three steps to save the splash.bmp. But I will try and down load the tool again.
