The Home Screen(s) Customization Thread (ahome, etc...)

Does the full version of Open Home support 3rd party widgets. I couldn't find a way to add those in the lite version.

There is a statement from Open Home that they don't support 3rd party apps for security reasons. I use Anycut with shortcut to Original Home and use all my widgets there. An extra step but allows toggling b/t two home programs/styles.

as far as i can tell, none of the home screen alternatives support droid / android 2.0 yet. pandahome has beta versions but sometimes it gets stuck and you have to lock/unlock to get things to work and other times it force closes. all in all though, it does the job. even allows you to change the names of the icons on the homescreen. honestly though, it could be better and easier to use. but its free so you really cant complain.

open home hasnt worked at all for me. i went to their website and im wondering if its even supported at all anymore. they havent updated their blog in a long while.

ahome (mappn) posted they're working on an updated version for 2.0.

havent tried sweeterhome yet but its on the list.
