Help The HTC Droid Incredible has 4 very bright white capacitive buttons (HOME, MENU, BACK, and SEARCH)

Take apart the screen and unplug the LEDS...

They're based off the ambient light of the place you are in. They turn off when you go somewhere bright.

you think thats bad try accidentally turning your phone on in the middle of the morning in a completely dark room. the HTC splash screen are like lighthouse bright and they stay on for quite sometime least it feels that way when your trying to get back to sleep.

Root and then install LEDs Hack.

Download simple led toggle from the Market. It'll turn them off and on with a widget. It also turns the camera leds on tho... just open and close flashlight to turn them off. lol
