Root The Monster 4!!!

you guys really got it right. all i've got to say is, its way better then stock,
slicker and more professional then stock or any version you guys have done
yet. SWEET

but geno, paris, can i ask you one question, you worked all the monster series,
I know you like them all, but which one do you see yourselves using on your
own phones.
 
Someone please help, my market or google play wont download any apps, I just get an error
Also google talk authentication fails but I deleted it off the rom
 
damn I'm still stuck on the Android screen I use Odin to go back to cwm 5.0.2.7 and monster 4 installs successfully but when I reboot it goes back to android screen no clue y I'm having this problem I wipe everything that needs to b wipe format data/system and cache and still no go :confused:

This is what works best for me
Go to Settings->Applications->Manage->Running - Click Market - Then Clear Cache (NOT CLEAR DATA!!!!) - Then Force Stop - Click Google Services Framework - Click Clear Data - Click Force Stop. Then when you get market back d/l and install goggle voice search.

this is the best i can do not having the phone....

go to root explore system /apps look for ur market and reinstall it just click on it and install call if that works ;)
 
I think i got 2 ways that may work, its your choice.

1. since you were doing CWM changing try the old wipe,data cash dalvick- format, system-data-cashe 3 times, (old Developer trick) then try
reinstalling the monster4 zip.
or
2. try reloading stock 2.3.4., then redo the monster4 installation.

ps : it did take a little longer to load then the other version for me
still less the 5 minits ;;;

i use version 4 seems to be the quickest.
 
I think your right . it is barking at the admiral beast but i think this is the best one out the box i bet i havn't changed 5 things total to personalize it. Great job again guys!

im stuck at where you have to sign into google i cant get past it =/ i like the bootip animation thats all i can really say about it so far lol

yeah that happened to me on 3 and 4 just sign in and keep hitting skip it will eventually give you the home screen
 
I just got my Beast so perfectly customized over the weekend. Totally custom dock icons and all that jazz.
But the temptation is too great.

Just ran all my Titanium backups and am now running CWM backup aswell.

Gonna take the plunge and give it a try.

Curious how I am going to like it vs. The Beast

I already did that. Most of my theming changes didnt show up. I got the SHTF error alot.
