Root The Monster 4!!!

There was no option to skip o.o I had to power down the phone. Well I got past it. Just wondering though, with the navigation gps, what's with the voice? On Beast the voice sounded decent, but now it's back to the machine lady voice o.o lol
 
Hey, I'm pretty new to all this flashing and rooting and whatnot. Is there a step-by-step guide anywhere on how to flash a ROM? I'd like to do this but obviously don't want to do it wrong. Thanks in advance!
 
Hey did anyone post a zip with the recovery from odin I wanna flash to this rom but I'm on req's recovery and Im not with my computer (I'm on my phone)
 
I just flashed monster on my admire, and I love it. It works wonderfully and i am happy to get rid of the locked down and crappy rom metro put on there.
 
Was very skeptical about switching roms. But thankgod I did this ROM is Fantastic ! The animations for this rom was put togother very well and super smooth! Thankyou very much devs!
 
Flashed yesterday, played with it just a bit today. That boot animation is sweet. The only glitch I've found so far is auto-rotate isn't working. I've tried various fixes from a couple of searches, but no luck so far. The only thing that remains is to re-flash and see if that does the trick.

Other than that, I'm very pleased! Great job to all who had a hand in this!
 
When I posted, it was everything. Now it's just the desktop. Can't remember what updated, Google Maps I believe...
 
I dont know if it is a known glitch or just me, but after about a week the 3g will stop connecting. I tried enabling and disabling airplane mode to get it to turn back on and I had no such luck. I always have to do a hard reset and then it will work again.:what:

I got this flashed last night. It works great. I don't use most features on my phone, so maybe I am missing some stuff, but everything I use works great. It turned my Admire from a clunky slab that was constantly loaded up with bloat ware, so bad I would have to run Task killer just to change desktops, in to a zippy, slick phone I can Admire. Thanks! :D
 
Hey guys, I was going to ask a question, but literally as I was typing out my question, in long and extremely inefficient format, I had a herp derp moment.

After you had wiped cashe and whatnot, installed new ROM, reboot from that menu, it would leave me stuck at the android e-mail part, without the option to "skip". The first time it loaded it only said create/sign in. if i signed in, it would say "this e-mail is already registered to this phone." and would not let me progress further. If i tried to create, I wouldn't be able to get a wifi signal for it to process. (I left my phone literally on top of my wireless, and barely got 1 bar).

Thats when i turned to the forums...typing typing typing, furious at the fact no where had i seen anyone else hit this wall along the way or even mention it. :banghead: So i knew i would have to come to the forums and ask...

Thats when my brain when herp durrp, and I restarted my phone...and it allowed me to skip that processes, and now im looking at a background that says "monster 4". :D

Basically I just wanted the people reading this considering upgrading their ROM for the first time to not have a 2 minute panic attack, followed by a herp derp moment after you thought you had done everything right.

herp derp.
