The Note 2 is truly amazing and worth the wait!

The rotten news "in denmark" is that Tmo is said to be quoting a retail price of $430 with a $50 rebate, making the Phablet $380 out the door! T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2 Release Date Set for Midnight (See User comments)

As I always say, it takes Tmo to really screw up a deal, smh.

Thank GOD that I'm out of contract! If the above info holds true, I'll either go to a 3rd party or leave altogether if they don't give me better pricing than I'm seeing. Why pay more than you need to when everyone else is selling the phone at a reasonable price on contract? Tmo does this all the time! They did the same thing with the GS3 - You could get it anywhere from $179.99 (now $149.99) at other carriers while Tmo graciously offers you the "upgrade pricing special" at $279.99!!! (As of my last quote). Ridiculous. GN2 is no different apparently.

i disagree with you..

If I buy a product that has 1 yr warranty from the Manufacture... from a legit retail store in USA... and i travel to France.. and the device dies. Why would it not be warrantied? I have never heard of a geographic limit to warranties.

as long as i did not abuse the product...why can I not send it to the manufacture...

I agree - which is why I said its daft.....but if you buy a product and the terms and conditions specify something that doesnt suit you, DONT buy it!

I wouldn't expect to move from UK to the states and Samsung to honour a device from europe. Unfortunately thats the reality of the world we live in and I refer back to my comment above - so who's the daft one, Samsung or the buyer??! Phredog constantly kicked off about his N1 then blamed Samsung - who's fault was it really? The channel he bought it through? the market he lives in (did he try to buy before it was officially launched in that region like so many people do - and in doing so take the same risk??)?

If you buy a product officially and it states a worldwide warranty he'd have had a leg to stand on....;)

You've got to love Tmo! The GN2 is posted at $369.99 for new customers on contract Search Results: T-Mobile. smh...which would coincide with the price an existing customer quoted in the article mentioned above for $430 with a $50 rebate for existing customers...Dang Tmo!

Wirefly has it for new customers for $279.99 on contract for Tmo. Sprint has not posted it's wirefly price yet. But reports are that all other carriers will have the GN2 @ $299.99 (I'm assuming that wirefly will have an enticing deal of it's own).

I am seeing (on wirefly) that the unlimited talk/text plan is $59.99 but I am not seeing a break-out for the web...unless it is FINALLY included in the $60. Since Tmo is reportedly merging with Metro, an all-inclusive $60 per month unlimited plan would be in keeping with what Metro charges as a rule. With the exception that one has to purchase their phone outright (no subsidy) with Metro. $50 per month is the magic number for an unlimited everything plan with SimpleMobile which uses Tmo's pipes. But again, it is a BYOP hookup. Or, purchase one of SM's phones from their affiliate provider...ex: GS3 $579.99 and there you have it.

got mine yesterday and am amazed. will be putting it theough some paces this week to really see what it can do.Learning curve on pen, the screen is wonderful for these tired eyes.never was a big fan of Samsung, changed or converted now. I am like other reviewer, not going back smaller.Size does really matter, lol, this is after only one day. Life is good, just got a whole lot better. Love this thing.

I have owned 8 android phones most motto phones. I have played and used iPhone 4s and wife had iPhone 5 before wife taking my galaxy 3. I will not go into to depth because there are a lot of reviews on the note 2. I feel that this is the phone I will be happy with for 2 years. I cannot say that by most phones. My wife took the Samsung galaxy s3 which is an excellent phone. I have the LG Intuition and it is good but to square shape for my pocket. I was impressed how the note 2 fit in my pocket with comfort. The design is great for a larger phone because it is taller than the LG and fits perfect from jeans to work dress pants.

The note 2 has tons of features. The battery life is great and Netflix rocks. The only compliant I can see from a person is it may be too big for a kid. I bought belkin case and it stands up while watching Netflix with headphones at work or listening to music. Trust me I can review almost every popular phone from the droid bionic to the note 2. The DNA is great but battery life is just not good for me and no SD card for pictures and music. The note 2 is as close as you will get for an all in one phone. When I say that I mean it

I have had Tmobile, Sprint, US Cellar, ATT, and now i am with verizon better coverage in my region. I have to say Tmobile stinks when I had them but they may have improved. My last phone from that company was the Garmin GPS phone (a big phone) but went through 4 of them due to technical matters. Tmo is the worst company i had experience with in all honesty. Good Luck ;)

Hmmm....I see Draw Something gaining another round of popularity.
I bet Samsung execs didn't see this coming. LOL!!! :D

Just now seeing this post, since this thread was bumped. Seems like it'd be a good marketing tool for Samsung to get together with the draw something developers to make it compatible with Multi-window...at least, you'd think that'd be something they'd consider.

They should have multi window support for the other popular note taking apps as well :-) and also other browsers
