The ***Official*** Did You Get The 2.1 Update Yet?

what ? its the truth. Tmo will not replace an original MT3G with a version 1.2 . they have a ton of refurbs in there wheelhouse. Truth hurts?
 
If I were you guys I would be watching the nexus forums to see when we get ours. Yours will come sometime after. Its common knowledge the nexus is getting it before everyone else. Don't quote me however.
 
I want a nexus one bad...i should have looked around tmo before picking the mt3g

March or April? Sometime recently. It was after I bought mine, and she noticed I had a better phone than her LOL
 
Tmo has really good customer service. Her phone was broken, not much just slightly, and she managed to get that. If your phone has any glitches you could let them know, but I'm pretty sure they will let you upgrade to that dude.

thanks ill check that out, ive been have some screen response problems, but it hasn't been too bad
 
You getting any kind of color bars going down your screen? Anything like that, that you can show and point out at the store always helps big time!

But she just called and told them that she wanted a new phone, and you should too :)

no its hust been reponse like the screen doesnt fell like im touching it when i am, ill probably just call and ask them to switch it out.
 
Yea, I know they did it for her because she was getting the phone replaced. If need be run hot water in a sink, and rinse phone. Repeat as necessary LMFAO

Though it might cost you like 120, idk. If you are up for an upgrade you could likely easily switch out the phones easily.

Yeaaaaaaaah, don't do that. lol

If the phone's moisture sensors have been activated, you'll be up that proverbial creek.

Yeah if you wanted to pay for the damage claim warranty price, then "wash" your phone. I just got a MT3G on Friday as a replacement for my G1. I've had a bazillion G1 replacements, so figured I'd finally bite the bullet and go with the MT3G. I was scared of going from a keyboard to non-keyboarded phone, but Swype makes everything doable, for being a "free" upgrade :) My MT3G came with v1.6, and am impatiently waiting this update for 2.2. I think it's worth it to "find" something wrong with your phone (covered under replacement warranty) and see what they send you. Make sure it's something they can't just troubleshoot... like tell them your trackball stopped responding, and also tell them you already reset your phone, and they'll say "looks like you already did all you can to troubleshoot, lets get you setup with a replacement" and you'll save yourself an hour doing all their required tech support steps. Then when you get your replacement just make sure you really do reset your phone (I do it right before I'm ready to stick it in the box).
