The Official I Got Mine! Thread

I couldn't give up the stock camera because of photospheres. Not that I'm getting an X, at least for awhile anyway.

As of now my X camera is has way more noise and noticeably not as sharp as the Gnex camera. It might be critical on the X camera since I just came back from using an iphone 5 for a while. I am not a huge camera person, so it isn't a big deal, but I think some of it is the auto focus.
 
I ordered mine finally. Full retail, black front and back, silver accents and, 32 gb. Showing 9/3 delivery date in my confirmation email.

Someone at the Motorola forum said they ordered theirs Friday night and got it today. That would be nice to have mine tomorrow.

For what it's worth, the quick launch camera is AMAZING once you get used to launching it!

You probably won't see anything again til tomorrow and it will probably show up sometime tomorrow or Thursday.
 
Arg. Still frustrated. Ordered mine Friday afternoon and not even a shipped email yet. People that ordered it on Saturday are already getting theirs... WHAT THE CRAP.

Hey I ordered mine Saturday and have not heard anything other than they are making it. So we are in the same boat. Has anyone noticed the pending charges disappearing from your account? My total is the same it is like they pend it when I bought the card saw it on my banking stuff now it is gone and the charge has not gone through.

Usually I'm an early adaptor, but after playing with a store unit and seeing that only about 1 out of every 10 camera pics come out clear I've decided to sit tight. It looks like the focus is wayyyyyy of, even with tap to focus enabled.

Couple the crappy camera software with horrible ordering stories and I'm pretty much just gonna sit tight and see what the next few weeks bring.

And the first Nexus 7... I got mine like 5 days after my buddy,and all he did was walk into a store (before launch) and buy one.... I reserved mine right after the site went live!
 
I got up this morning and there was an email from Motorola saying mine shipped and I will get it today. Then another email from att stating they shipped something. Guess it is the sim? Does this mean when I get it I won't be able to use it? I have to now wait on a sim card or can I go to my local store and get one? This is my first time with att so I don't know how this stuff works.

After reading things more carefully I see that the sim is coming with the phone Keep in mind this is the phone iand designed. Somehow it is attached to my wife's number. It is her sim that is coming with my phone. Can this get any more screwed up? Guess when hers comes in we will have to go to att and figure out how to get these switched around. May call my local store today and see what they tell me. This has really become commical.

2nd edit: looks like the wife's shipped too but no email about a sim. At least we will have them in hand today.
 
The phones come with a Nano sim pre installed. If you already have a sim and have a Nano some cutter you can just chomp your sim down and put it into the phone and be done. That's actually what I did and have no issues.
 
this is my first time with att so i know nothing about these sim cards. so since her card is coming in my phone can i just switch them around and life be good?

Nope, but you will pretty much be golden.


There will be a pamphlet that will tell you exactly what to do when you get it today. Should be pretty simple.
