The Official I Got Mine! Thread

Just got mine finally. I must say it feels great in the hand, and it's the same height as the iphone with the screen size of the One.

Not sure if anyone who has their X mentioned this yet or not but how are the power/volume buttons? I've read various reviews and some say that they are loose/woggly and others say they are nice and firm/clicky, what is your opinion on the buttons? Thanks.

Honestly thinking that they are starting to hammer out a smoother process for these.

Yeah I think so. I am actually going to customize mine niw tonight.

Att gave me a card to use but I don't know what color to do. Either all black including black buttons. Or black front, crimson back, and gold buttons.

Thoughts?

I would LOVE gold buttons. But Moto Maker lists the closest color as "Metallic Orange".

So it that, gold, or is it orange with a gleam? I'd love to know and see it before I order it...

I'll let you know when my wife's phone comes in. She got metallic yellow trim... I'm afraid it is going to look gold.

My buttons are perfect better than the volume button on my One to be honest.

Loving this phone. Now I just need some time to play around and learn. So used to htc that I am a little lost. Have lost some of the things I used all the time.

the widgets they had were very handy. now i have to go to the play store and find some that will do the same functions. also htc seems to link with fb. i know it is trivial, but i am so not good at friends and family birthdays and having fb linked to my phone put all that information on my calendar as well as their profile photos linked up to their contact infomation in my phone book so i had pictures for everyone. just little things nothing major. just stuff that i found handy for my day to day use.

gotcha. I use haxsync i believe its called to link up facebook info.

Androids used to play nice with google but I think the whole g+ vs. facebook thing finally hit the android consumers.

Just an update on Moto Maker - I ordered mine on August 27 at 3:43 (email timestamp). I returned home today from vacation and it was on my doorstep to my surprise. The date was from yesterday, so they turned mine around from Tuesday afternoon for delivery in Pennsylvania on Friday. Nice work by Motorola as they seem to have this going well now.

For reference - Black, 32 GB with Silver accents.

Meant to post this earlier, but busy weekend has kept me away from the computer. Ordered my wife's X last Tuesday and it was at my front door on Friday when I got home. Pretty shocking how fast they turned it around.

Late to the party ... I know, but getting this back on topic. Mine was delivered today at 12:15 - I went home and grabbed it on lunch, I am very excited and I just got to say, it was actually LESS than 48 hours from design to my pocket. That's pretty darn cool.

:D
