I’ve shared previously that in the past I’ve done some stage work in the SF Bay Area. As a newbie I was bemused to find out that non-musicals are referred to (in the parlance) as “straight” theater. Straight theater? In the Bay Area?

Anyway, it’s humorous in the punny sense so thought I’d share.
