Can you put a link to the flashable? I couldn't find it.
It is in the Dev thread.

Here it isremoved
Thanks, I know that, but I can't find the actual zip
It is very early alpha and is there for Devs to work out issues. The point of that thread is for them to get things working. It isn't something that they felt the need to release, and I don't feel comfortable linking their work elsewhere when they don't do that. It isn't in any shape that they need testers or bug reports.
EDIT: I would also suggest others not do this either, unless you made it yourself. There is a reason there is a [DEV] thread for it. There are things you should know before flashing anything and they discuss it there. If people want it they should read through the thread themselves.
I am not trying to be a jerk, just don't want to give the people working on this more headaches at this time. So if you do try it out, please don't bug them about it. There will be a time when it reaches a releasable state, and I am sure there will be a thread here on it when that time comes.

.So you can't use the touch buttons (The ones that are built into the phone)? You have to reserve screen space for those 3 (ugly) buttons at the bottom? D:

I was just asking if that is what's always going to be there. All of the dev's are well aware what does and what does NOT work....
Thanks

You can use the touch buttons. We can easily remove the 3 softkeys. However, I like having the 3 softkeys since the 3rd one--the one on the right--is the one that pulls up "recent apps". There is not an alternative key at this time for that function.

Weirdly enough though. The only phones that were going to have the touchscreen keys were going to be phones that had no hardware keys (like the galaxy nexus), and tablets. ICS for everyone else shouldn't have those soft keys and have the recent apps hooked up to a long press of the home key like it has been. So I'm wondering why does cm9 have it? Is it part of the source code? Actually would there be a way to have a option maybe not now but in the future to be able to enable and disable the touchscreen keys?

We could make the search key bring up recent apps, considering there's no search softkey
What about the apps that haven't updated for ICS yet? You would still need the menu key for them.I think it would be better to use the menu key as it seems a little odd to use the search key, apps have the menu settings intergrated into the apps anyways

This is exactly what I was thinking. Being able to customize it the way I want is why I use Android.Actually lets make it a cyanogen mod idea that allows you to configure which buttin does what. This allows the user to make the choice.
