Mods The root club [Root only]

Yep the galaxy s couldnt of been any easier to root. Me and DURX kinda helped each other out with links and all but I decided to flash cm 10 and it is runs perfectly. Its weird having such an old device run JB so well :D
 
I cannot have an Android device without root therefore I wont buy 'unrootable' devices since I need overclocking just to hide the lag or change certain UI elements (I'm looking at YOU App not responding dialog!)
 
Currently on my HTC EVO LTE I'm running PAC Man which is Paranoid Android, AOKP, and CM10 all combined into one. I'm loving this ROM especially with a few graphic mod's I added to it.
 
I had PACman on my DHD for a couple of weeks... I'm on CM10 now, but think I'm gonna have to try another one soon though :D

Sucks even with the huge update ROM manager still doesn't support cwm recovery natively for the droid razr.

Guess i'll have to do a manual install.
 
Well, all...

I think I am going to retire SU and super SU. Whether or not this is permanent, I am not sure. I think I am going to just leave my devices where they are, if an update breaks root, I think I will just keep it broken.

Enjoy, your rooting adventures, I think it may be time for me to settle down for a while :)

I got one more rom that I am going to try... CSROM v 1.0

While I am giving things one more attempt, I am trying to put a fresh rom black star XI on my parents note 1. First attempt failed good thing I accidentally downloaded a second copy. It looks like it flashed fine and I am at the first boot.

Flashing CSROM to the S3 now
 
Running Bad Seeds Tranquility at the moment its pretty good with battery life and all. Aesthetically pleasing. Nice ROM for the EVO LTE. It has a program that will allow you to add mods to it from Windows but I don't have windows so cant use that feature. Still can mod it the old fashioned way which is good by me.
 
Just updated to CM10.1 on my DHD... seems quite stable - quite impressed... brought a few tweaks on CM10 that I had on it before! :)

Always had terrible battery problems on CM with my Droid. But my battery on Sourcery is the pits right now. :(
Maybe I'll give 10.1 a shot.
 
On occasion, battery life hasn't been the best but, for the most part, I've had really good experiences.

With CM7, I got in to undervolting, etc. Battery life was AWESOME!

Have been impressed so far with CM10.1 though!! :)

IIRC, EP was saying that he's just put it on his N7... bet that looks good!
 
Well my s3 battery life has improved after I flashed cm10. But maybe that's because it was so bad after the normal JB update.
I love how easy it is to root Samsung devices. :p
