The screen on the skyrocket is not as good as the original s2'S?

Has anyone noticed this? The colors seem a lot more washed out on the skyrocket that they do on the S2. When I'm looking at a picture downloaded from the a backgrounds app it looks OK, but when I make it my homescreen it looks pixelated and just not as clear or sharp. Anyone else notice this?
 
Yes I just traded my S2 for a Skyrocket and I'm missing the rich colors on the S2 already. I was hoping this was a defect screen.

So, are there Skyrockets out there with that beautiful over saturated color vibrant greens and blues?
