Got my nephew's wedding to go to today. "Uncle of the groom" has some serious responsibilities .... get drunk, fall into something and provide stories for their grandchildren to tell for decades. :D

Lol - sound like the responsibilities of "brother of the bride" too (at my sisters wedding next weekend)

I think I'm up to the task. :D :D

I have every faith ;)

Brother of the bride's job is to get the groom drunk the night before the wedding and put him on a train without his wallet. ;)

Sugar free?? Blech, yuck. I'm just going to steal some of your pizza. Coffee is good though!! I got my Saturday treat of a pumpkin spice latte before work.

LOL Today's sugar free Jello tastes good.

Hers is a cup of Kona for you BB :)

and for the amusing thought this morning...

I would, but he's much, much bigger than me and, even if he's a really nice bloke, I wouldn't want to deal with the fall out... I think my little sister would actually kill me too!

I did some acrobatics in a airplane. Just 2 pre flight lessons years apart was enough expierence that the instructor let me steer the plane in a corkscrew, a looping, and flying across the airport upside down.

20 minutes flying time $ 200. Smiling all day : priceless :trytofly:

Edited for an other experience i had last summer. You know the Boeing 737-800 airplane? Ok, pilots have to train to work on those planes. Training them with a real airplane is too expensive so they have the simulator instead. Over here in the Netherlands it is possible to book some time on that simulator. So i did that, and booked 90 minutes on the full movement 737-800 simulator. I did some circuit flying close to Amsterdam Airport to proof that i was capable of flying an aircraft that big . The instructor who also has the role of co-pilot, asks if i want to do the "Kai Tak approach" .( Old Honk Kong airport ) Well that's an approach where you need some skill to land the plane correctly. Let's proof that i did that job pretty good.
I'm the guy sitting on the left side (captain chair) and flying the 737 by hand.

Well, it was a summer of fun, playing with a 737 sim, flying a Cessna 172 and a Fuji acrobatic plane

and seeing gigs like Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Status Quo and The Who.

Summer 2014 seems to be at least that good starting off by the end of March when we go to Iceland for a couple of days.

Not watching it today. When tear jerker is in the title and I'm slightly moody to begin with it may be my undoing. And I'm looking forward to later so no tears allowed.

My boyfriend is a contractor and works in another state, we only see each other 2x a month. So he's up today and he took me out to dinner. :D hey Wynd, I was wondering how that blind date went from the other day. Did I miss the tell all? Lol
