The Tablet Tavern

Well we're all graduates. He likes models of robots and stuff. Those are expensive though. I might get him a generic but useful gift.

Installed it but haven't had much time to mess with it. Have heard some great things about it though on a few different blogs. If it's not too crummy of weather today, perhaps I'll get outside and test it out. I have way too many camera apps as it is, usually just stick to the stock LG one. :)

Yeah, it does look a little clumsy. I believe, however, it's layout is exactly the same as the iOS version so perhaps that is why it's not "Androidy".

Whelp, started mixing dough today. Making some olive and rosemary bread. :)

Good morning everyone :)

Coffee is ready. The work crew is digging up the back yard, replacing the drain field for the septic system.

Morning Folks :)

@CG - I remember those days. I used to install them.

I'm glad I don't install them LOL.. I'll stick to the electrical stuff like access controls, CCTV systems, fire alarms etc.

Ugh, remember when they had to replace our system growing up. That was miserable. :(
Sewer system FTW! :D

Yeah it sucks, and I can't let the dogs in the back yard while it is being worked on. then will need to get grass sodding done, cant just have dirt cause the two dachshund mix doggies would dig in it.

Hey guys. My body is aching. Too much exercise maybe:p

Hiya Wynd. What did you do?

While I'm not a home owner, I will still say that underground power lines have been one of the best things about living in a city too. Four years, two massive snow storms, Hurricane Sandy (well, not bad in DC), plenty of wind and our power has gone out exactly twice for just minutes. And, I believe they were scheduled by Pepco for some reason.

Yeah that is nice, but when you have backup power in the form of inverters and generators, it isn't bad. Being able to go out in the back yard at night and see all the stars, without the city glow makes it worth it.
