The Tablet Tavern

Yeh if you play Windows games, best to use the correct operating system. :thumb: Mind you even if I had Windows still couldn't play BF4 though, not without stealing it. EA and their geo-restrictions...

I was at a stop, 2 roads...

Battlefield 4

Call of Duty Ghost

After seeing gameplay of both, I decided that Ghost was exactly the same as everything else call of duty has done in the past. I like it at first, then I get really board with it. I wanted a change.

Then again, EA is a company that I absolutely hate. That's as far as I'll go. But battlefield is a good game.

Isn't Ghost another game set in World War 2? Can we give up on that war already? Let's kick some ass in Vietnam.

No, it's like future isn't it? I don't know, haven't played the game.
I think that they need to make some really old war games. Like the Civil war, or no! The Roman war or something like that. Wayyyy back when. No guns, just swords. Imagine CoD like that. haha

This is cool:

I read on gizmodo that the GS5 would have some water resistance earlier and haven't heard anything since.

Also quick update. Heard from HR. They were shocked by how I was treated. She said she was gathering statements and I would hear back tomorrow.

I don't know. I'm racking my brain trying to find it.

Oddly I did get a phone at 6:30 local time from a guy demanding to know why I didn't call him Friday night so he could one up my previous job and could have started today.

For the anti-frackers Colorado just signed a bill into law cutting down emissions of wells/tank batteries by 85% which is just good for everyone. Eventually they'll figure out a way to sell that collected gas.

What are frackers? I have heard that for the third time today.

It's actually fracing but we refer to those that don't know as anti-frackers to show their ignorance to what we do. But no amount of evidence will show them different. Except a propaganda film funded by the Venezuelan Oil and Gas Commission.

It's just another thing people can fight and landowners say, "Your wells are making me sick and giving me health problems!" Then you ask how long they've been smoking and they tell us they don't have to answer that.

All I know is that my natural gas bill for one of the coldest January's in years was $141.00 for heat, hot water, cooking and a gas fireplace. Frac all you fracking want! ;) :D

The petrochemicals have been in the soil and water here (Pennsylvania) along with radon, arsenic and a bunch of other nasty things for millions of years. Now in true American fashion, we have someone to blame for it.

(PS. Let's keep the frikking fracing talk to a low fracas. Would want to have this moved to the Politics/Current Affairs forum .... *shudder*)

You know what I have noticed about people?... So many of us are really connected to our device. Constantly I see about 7/10 people on a cell phone or something. People are walking, chances they are on their phone, people are eating, they are on their phone, and me, 10/7 I am on this Note. Pretty much everything I do is from this tablet. Is this a bad thing??

Just off the top of my head, it makes me think that social interaction is on the decline in the real world. It seems odd to see a group of people sitting around a table all with their heads down and their thumbs rapidly tapping away. Even if they are sending stuff to the guy across the table. :dontknow:

People interact. Just sometimes they are distracted from the conversation to talk with someone else not in the same room as them.
