My grandma bought the car for $1500. She already put in $3000 to fix it.

I have only had to do minor maintenance on my Jeep, and those are the same level of maintenance I would have to do on the Tesla.

At current technology, an electric vehicle is not ready for primetime in a rural area. A longer range, much shorter recharge time, and a drastically lower purchase price is needed if you want to see an electric vehicle go mainstream.

Bummer, Luna. :(
It's beautiful weather here. Just went out for a light lunch of Mexican street food and drinks. Making some flatbread pizzas for dinner. Nice and relaxing before work tomorrow. Also catching some basketball and watching my bread be torn further and further.

Well, it's decided. I'm getting a Moto X. The only hangup I have is whether to get the Developer Edition or go with Motomaker (I need to do Motomaker to get a 32GB anyway). I know a couple of folks in here have the X. What should I expect jumping from the GNex, and do you have any opinions of a DE version or a Motomaker?

Wow getting my phones big brother. I wish that Boost Mobile had gotten the Moto X. I would go with the Moto Maker decision. You get to chose the colors the GB everything. You make it yours.

Unlockable Bootloader (i.e. easy root and romming withoug voiding warranty) vs. picking my colors. Both have 32GB of storage.

Wife got a 32GB Moto Maker with a wood back (forget which one). She loves it and I love using it from time to time. I don't see a point with a Dev Edition. It's barely skinned and where it is it helps. I ROM'd my G2 cause the stock LG software is awful, but with my Moto G (which is really similar to the X) is so close to stock software. Verizon bloat is barely anything so don't worry about it. :)
Best of luck on your choice!

Either way I'm buying off contract straight from Moto. If I'm going to wrap it in a case, I don't see the point of Motomaker. I'd want a wood back, but I would never see it. And the DE looks pretty nice as well.
