Hey,random question..you know how on the nexus devices, the buttons are on the actual screen, does that mean the screen is not actually 7 inches,or 4.7?
So with Nexus devices (Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 10), the screen size includes those virtual/software buttons. When those buttons are on screen, the screen size for content is diminished by its presence. However, as app developers respond properly to this new reference of how an Android app should be coded, apps which are able to detect virtual/software buttons will hide those buttons when a full screen is the desired outcome.

For example, on my Nexus 4 and 7, like my GNex before it, the YouTube app hides the "Navigation Bar" (virtual/software buttons), as it is more commonly known, so that the entirety of the device's screen is utilized. So in these preferred and delightful use cases, the screen size quoted is actualized as should be expected.

Hope this clears things up for you.

Hi good afternoon.

I was having another look at the drugs and medicines I was prescribed on Friday by a doctor at the local hospital. One that drew my attention is something called "transfer factor". I didn't know what this stuff is, until I looked it up and also came across this warning and criminal investigation letter from the FDA about transfer factor:-

Immunity Today, LLC 02-Jun-05

  • "Transfer factor has consistently been effective in the prevention and treatment of viral infections."
  • "For acute onset of symptoms [from Herpes Simplex Virus and Varicella-Zoster Virus], one can expect an immediate response ."

It seems that in the States, transfer factor is NOT a licensed drug for anything. And in the UK from what I can gather, it's only licensed for animal use only. Yet in the PRC it's perfectly OK. In light of the above information. I've only taken one capsule of this stuff, I'm not taking any more.

But everyone will be pleased to know, I'm OK now, rash has almost gone and I feel great. :)
