Thing is I love Jethro Tull, one of my favourites, and I probably just wouldn't even bother with a solo Ian Anderson concert.
Kind of goes back to the "Solo Monkees" thing I posted earlier. Presumably Mike Nesmith and the whatever session musicians will be doing Monkees classics, like I'm a Believer and Hey, Hey We're The Monkees, etc.
But that's the thing, Solo Ian Anderson was NOT Jethro Tull but everyone wanted him to be. Daydream Believer was the 1st 45 I ever bought. If it's not a scratchy, warbly chunk of vinyl with Davy Jones on it,it is NOT Daydream Believer!
) I want to know what they are doing today (besides trying to pretend they are still 20 years old.)
) like the significance of Woodstock or the Free love Movement in San Francisco, then by all means don your tie-dyed jeans and flowered headband and knock yourself out. Just don't become one of those people who, when we were listening to Hendrix and Joplin, bellyached that only Sinatra and Crosby was the only decent music.

wish I could see then in there former glory
