That includes accelerating, stopping, or turning. Do everything slow. Literally, slow down slowly, speed up slowly, and turn the steering wheel slowly. That is the genesis of hearing people say leave extra room, it's not grumpy grown up talk, it the truth. Also, you see all these folks in 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicles going like a bat out of hell. You, and they, need to remember that though they may have four wheels getting them moving, all vehicles have four wheels stopping them and they always have.
