To say. I'm not that bad of a driver. I'm being really cautious now and driving under the speed limit because of the snowy roads.

SF, was it you that just got your license? Either way, remember in the snow, ice, or other inclement weather that a change in direction is when bad things happen. That includes accelerating, stopping, or turning. Do everything slow. Literally, slow down slowly, speed up slowly, and turn the steering wheel slowly. That is the genesis of hearing people say leave extra room, it's not grumpy grown up talk, it the truth. Also, you see all these folks in 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicles going like a bat out of hell. You, and they, need to remember that though they may have four wheels getting them moving, all vehicles have four wheels stopping them and they always have.

It doesn't matter how many wheels your car powers, it comes down to how much rubber from the tires you have on the pavement because snow has A LOT less friction than the road itself.

Yes it's me that just got my license. I drive slow, like 10 mph below the speed limit on the snowy roads. My sister says I'm too cautious, but when I can't see out my back window, and the roads make it hard to break, I'd rather go slow just in case.

Edit.

Chicago is complaining about the delayed trains switches. They apparently been delayed for 4 days now because the rails are frozen.

Chicago is also complaining about the side streets not being cleared. With the taxes people pay, one would think that the city would do more. Guess not.

If I lived up north I would get these for my Cherokee.

A real 4x4 will stop better because one axle will keep the other turning preventing it from stopping and skidding, but most 4x4s these days have some sort fancy system that allows some slip between front and rear. I had to get the off road package to get the old fashioned lever on the floor with the solid lock. Then I upgraded the tires to 8 ply 33" BFG's.
I came up on an overpass one night, the road went up over the highway and then there was an intersection where you could turn left to get on the highway on ramp and the off ramp came from the other side. Police were there stopping the off ramp traffic as people would come up to the intersection and I watched three vehicles in front of me just slide straight through unable to stop or turn. I slowed down and stopped right at the intersection where your supposed to put on my turn signal and the policeman laughed and motioned me to go ahead and turn. After I turned looked back and saw another couple cars slide straight through.

American Flavour? Tastes like a landfill?

That's what Super Coffee Corp. of Ulan Bator prints on the packets, along with red, white and blue, stars and stripes. It's a bit sweet and tastes approximately of coffee. I don't think the Republic of Mongolia is particularly well known as a coffee producing nation TBH. I would post a pic but image uploads seem to be broken again.

This stuff, Mike?

Looks hilarious. :)

Yeh that's the stuff. known as "3in1 coffeemix". Which is a powder, you add hot water that gives you a sweet tasting brown liquid that kind of resembles coffee "American Flavour". Nescafe do it as well. 3in1 coffeemix was how coffee was introduced to China, and most coffee is still like it now. The sachets can be hung on a nail in any store, and is very easy to make. Before the 1980s there just wasn't any coffee. China was and still is a nation of tea drinkers. There is Starbucks, and many fake Starbucks as well.

Bread, you think that one is hilarious...

..try this...

And I am not joking, that is a real coffee product, comes from Beijing. Espresso like you've never had it before, and never want to try again. :puke:

BTW here's another one from Beijing Joke Coffee Co. Ltd.

So I bought the "MOGA Hero Power" Bluetooth game controller with my best buy gift card. I bought it to use with my tablet for my games. However, I am having an issue. The controller has to different Bluetooth modes, and mode "A" won't connect properly. Unfortunately the game in question needs that mode. I decided to see if it was ther controller, and tried it with my GS2 and it works flawless. So now I get to figure out why mode "B" works on the tablet, and why it can't seem to find the device in mode "A"
