Help The Thrill and Gorilla Glass

Not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure that the Thrill does not have Gorilla Glass. :(

I have a (very) tiny surface scratch on the glass on mine. At first I thought it was just a dog hair or something, but after a good cleaning, it isn't coming off. I've never scratched any of my other phones (confirmed with Gorilla Glass), and I definitely am not the easiest on them but so far have been with the Thrill since I just got it. Kinda surprised that the Thrill wouldn't have it. I haven't seen anything confirming or denying though.

rumor has it that lg skipped on gorilla glass due to cost.

sorry you scratched it :( The first thing I do is put a screen protector on my phone, I don't care what kind of glass it is

It's too bad if that's the case. I think most would prefer to pay a few extra bucks for the ease of mind.

I have had screen protectors in the past, but hate the feeling (and drag) that they cause. But, if this doesn't have GG, then I think I will tend to the side of safety and put one on (reluctantly).

Good news is, the scratch is quite hard to notice unless the screen is off and you hold it at just the right angle (and it's quite small). So, I will just have to be extra careful until the protector gets here.

For screen protectors....look on ebay ...look in the description fro PET.

They feel like glass and are dirt cheap. I have been using them for a few yes now.

Corning's website shows that Gorilla Glass "is available on" the LG Thrill 4G. (Can't post actual link as this is my first post...)

www dot corninggorillaglass dot com/products-with-gorilla/lg

I don't know if this means the early LG Thrills did not have it or if Corning only updates their list from time to time.
