Please Help guys,

I desperately need desense this pnone, I love HTC phones but I hate sense with passion, what I really want is stock JB. Thanks to you guys here I got rooted, s-off, CWM backup but I can't get the stock JB, I know I'm a moron and I have no business messing up with my phone but for no reason I got to get rid of sense or I'll hit this thing with a hammer, please help guys, btw DOS Equis is the best beer out there.

Place the 2013-07-19.01.57.24 backup into the clockworkmod/backup path in your external sd card, does this mean save this file into your back
up folder inside CWM in your sd card?

I got this all done and still have sense....Is it possible to have stock JB without sense on this phone without going to a custom rom?

Im having trouble unlocking the bootloader. when i tried to unlock it using the instructions on the htcdev website i got stuck with a prompt saying "waiting for device". now with their updated guide it seems like im not getting anywhere at all.someone please help

Do you have the drivers installed properly?
 
I'm attempting to follow this guide however since my touch screen is damaged twrp won't let me create/restore a backup (can't swipe to start)
I've tried creating the directory TWRP/BACKUPS/ but its not recognized. I've also tried flashing the system image from the backup with fastboot, but get an error about data being too long.

Anyone got any ideas? Or perhaps the correct .img's (boost) to use with fastboot to complete this process?

what is the exact path to your fastboot directory?

shorten it as much as possible

also rename the system.img file to

system.img.ext4

and

fastboot flash system system.img.ext4

Also, i had used fastboot to flash a new splash.img and I'm having problems flashing the stock one. The fastboot command fails (remote not permitted or something to that effect)

when i used the pl**.img method the image flashed but looks corrupt.

would you happen to have a known working dl for the stock splash screen?

i believe so. i went through the normal process of trying to unlock it as its displayed on the htcdev website. i downloaded all the files they said were necessary but it seems that once i go through the instructions i get nowhere. also htc sync wont even recognize my device.

It was stuck on test 3: said waiting on bootloader and I got hypnotized by the dots. I woke up and much time had passed and my wallet was missing.

back to the drawing board.

I do have a CWM backup though. But don't have CWM recovery on board phone yet.

Always did have trouble with Moonshine.

you should try using a USB 2.0 port, I kept having these headaches for hours until I switched ports

Try uninstalling HTC Sync (You'll need to anyway if you intend to S-OFF) then try unlocking again
