this almost justifies a call off/sick day.. no work will be done the following day after delivery and battery will be eaten up playing with it all day..
 
Can't blame you at all.

I have the 9th AND 10th cleared off on my calendar - whether it shows up early or on time, the whole day is clear to play!
 
Yep self employed, can stay home and play with my new toy, if it ever gets here. After being my own boss. I could never work for anybody again.
 
I tried the note 2 yesterday and didn't like how it felt cheaply made. Was like holding my daughters galaxy player, all plastic. I hope the note 3 is not like that. My S4 doesn't feel like that.
 
Yea if I could only keep her out of the check book. But at least if I want to buy a new phone she can't say anything. It's for the business.
 
I have to say it really suck to be you guys. I am a T-mobile customer so the phones are already here today (Wed 02) but I have not bought it today cause I still want to see and feel the white Note 3 back.
 
The Galaxy S4 and Note 3 are made from high quality polycarbonate plastic. Yes it comes in quality grades and no it's not cheap. That's a myth propagated by Apple and the pro-Apple press.

In fact the hypocrisy is that no reviewer has said Apple is using cheap plastic on the iPhone 5C, and it's made from the same material as these two Galaxies. I know plastics very well, sadly Apples so influential they have everyone convinced Aluminum is the holy grail. When in reality it dents, scratches, and transfers 100% of the shock of impact upon dropping which assures a broken display.

Call around & find a corporate store.White is available (on T-MOBILE),at least in some locations,contrary to what's been reported on several blogs/websites.;)
 
There are rumblings Verizon is shipping 10/4 (tomorrow).

None of the fibers of my being believe it, but just thought I would throw it out there.

I'm paying with a gift card so I can't check to see if I've been charged yet or not.

But if anyone has, please let us know.

I'll drain my battery dead personally tomorrow checking my account beginning at 430am... fingers crossed for us Verizon folks..
 
I called this morning to see if I could change my shipping to overnight which I couldn't. Csr told me the phone would be in store the 10th and my early preorder would ship the 10th. Why preorder if I can pickup in store. She said if I go to the store just call and cancel the preorder. What the h*ll.
 
Even the website says it will ship by 10/10. I take that as the latest it will ship is 10/10.

Customer service just about everywhere sucks. The only place I get good customer service is American Express. They always have an answer and usually everyone's answers are in line.
 
Customer service is quite good at AT&T. I've already received my Note 3 within the dates they quoted as I have every other phone I've purchased from them. They're not perfect, but they do a great job.
 
Tiger Direct has the 2014 32GB note 10.1 in stock.

I had pre-ordered from Best Buy but they are just as bad as Verizon.

I ordered the tablet for overnight delivery. So tomorrow I will at least have ONE of my toys while Verizon continues to piddle all over themselves.

I am tempted to do that, but the Darling Bride's b'day isn't until the 26th so I have plenty of time to get it here from Amazon :)

It's in stock at TigerDirect? I just checked and also chatted with a rep and they said it's still in preorder status. They said the release date is October 10th.
 
Spoke too soon. TD has been shipping these out like crazy last few days (there is a huge xda thread on it), and even though I supposedly ordered one with overnight shipping, they are now telling me it's on back order til 10/12.

Back to the waiting room. Figures.
