The waiting game sucks

at this point im not really expecting mine to ship until the 18th/19th but im hoping it comes sooner.
 
lol im still suffering with a 2.8 inch screen htc touch pro. never again will i buy a windows mobile phone.

I bought mine from the store on 8/1 at like 11AM and I still haven't heard anything...the guy said it would be a week so hopefully I get an e-mail soon.
 
I ordered mine on the 5th, was told it would ship around the 23rd by the CSR. FWIW the website had that same "will ship by" date when I ordered and now it says the 25th. The 2 days of waiting for the email is gnawing at me.
 
i think verizon makes the ship by date a lot longer so 1) it seems like you're getting your phone a lot faster and 2) if something goes wrong they have extra time to ship it out by the date they advertised
 
we went to the verizon store on the 5th and switched from sprint. ordered 2 DXs :D. I want it NOW! switching from the samsung RANT to the Droid X is like upgrading from a bicycle to a sports car. I would like to get it before my birthday (13th)
 
one of the people at the store where i ordered it from now said i probably wouldnt get it until the 18th (ordered on 8/1) but im sure it will come earlier
 
Finally getting it tomorrow. I got my Fed-ex tracking number last night. Today may in fact be the longest day of my life.

Well thats good news for you. I ordered mine the same day and have not received anything thus far...... I will cross my fingers for tomorrow as well for me. Won't get too excited though....

You ordered yours on Aug 3rd and it is being delivered today? Did you have to call to get a tracking number or your tracking number is posted on the order status page on vzw.com

I got my tracking number via gmail last night. I was starting to give up hope lol. I should have tomorrow by 12. I ordered mine online through the Verizon website, so I don't know if that has something to do with it or what. I don't know how there shipping department works or who gets priority. If you placed your order by Aug. 3 than I would assume that you should be getting by tomorrow, atleast I hope you are my friend. I know what it feels like to wait.
 
I bought mine on the 1st from store and haven't received any shipping notification so I hope they are just swamped and forgot to do everyone.

I placed my order online around 6am on Aug 1st and haven't got a tracking number yet.
 
just called *611 and the lady told me it wouldnt ship until at least the 20th. I definitely don't believe that but at least now I know they still have my order.
