Root The way I make bootanimation.zip

I take a video, nearly any format, and I pass it through Free Video to JPG Converter . It's freeware, but watch out! It "offers" a bunch of adware. I have installed it several times and have never included any of it's "offers".

After that, I it through Boot Animation Creator

If I want to preview it I use Boot Animation Previewer

That's most of it. If I need to resize the pictures, I use FastStone Photo Resizer
It can be slow, especially if you are converting a whole movie (shhhh), but it's free. Whenyo're done, you should have a bootanimation.zip read to go.

I played with your recommended programs today and managed to get a decent bootanimation. There is still a grey border on top and bottom and the resolution seems a bit off. Any suggestions? My source was a ripped 720P video clip. Pretty cool animation idea, especially if you've seen the movie Wanted. (First time attaching something on these forums so here goes:D)
Edit: Forgot to say thanks again to dsmryder for programs, Epic Snipe for youtube snippet, and of course everyone else (g60+triumph team) for making my fabulous rom.

Two things. First, the images are kinda big. Our phone has a reolution of 480x800. If you pass it through the image resizer it will shrink it down so the animation will be smaller.
Second, the images have the borders. I don't know of any way to batch remove them. If it was me, I would have to do it frame by frame.
