Root [THEME] Bugless Evolution

Ok so i had to reinstall the theme and now my google search widget isnt dark anymore. can anyone point me in the direction of changing the color. Thanks

Nevermind i got it

This theme needs to be ported to work with other builds. I keep wanting to try newer and more recent ROMS only to find I cannot find a theme that comes close to being as amazing as this one.

Expand and I will pay you in rubies!

I made a port for Cyanogen6 RC3 which you can find here: [THEME] REVOution - CM6 RC3 - CyanogenMod Forum

I'm still pondering what the next ROM will be I port to...I'm thinking of giving SS 4.7 a try. I wish Pete would come out with v.5 already so I can port that!

I was successfully using the .4 theme, but when I updated to the .5 theme, my exchange account was deleted, and the email program was also removed. I am using the theme only package on Pete's stock FRG22 release. Any idea why this is happening, and is there a solution?

I figured out what I did wrong when putting together v5....I re-uploaded v5 with the fix. If you could, just re-download the v5 THEME .zip and reinstall it. It will fix your issues.

Is this THE Pete? haha

Thanks! It worked.

Unfortunately, I'm not THE Pete. If I were, I'm sure I would have known how to fix that myself ... and I would be working more on the Droid since its the only phone I've got. :)

Thank you for creating such a pretty theme!

I'm trying to match your weather widges, but I cannot get the weather widget to display a non-transparentcy, the same way you do in your examples. Could you clarify, maybe, on how you did that?

having issues w/ the battery shape icon keeping up w/ the actual battery level of my phone. Phone was at 60% w/ only one notch on the battery gone.

How would i go about switching back to the original battery look?

Same question I have actually...
Been wanting a different theme from the original froyo but I just love the stock horizontal battery icon with its % meter.

Hitting a couple of snags and would like to know if anyone else has had them or how to fix them --

The process:

Running Froyo on stock Moto Droid (VzW), Rooted using Easy Root, clocked to 800mhz using SetCPU, backed up, wiped, loaded Bugless Evolution (latest version from OP) all went fine

Just wanted to say this is a great theme. Probably the most visually slick looking theme around in my opinion.

The theme launcherpro plus widgets are very nice. I would consider contacting the launcherpro developer to see if he might include them as part of launcherpro itself.

This theme is amazing. Unfortunately, I can't run Bugless Beast stable at all for some reason. I went back to CyanogenMod and got most of this theme working....except that status bar. Anybody have any idea how I can get that working with Cyanogen? I'm expecting a "No", but figured I'd throw this out.
I had the same problem as you. All you have to do is download Root Explorer, go into your /system/app folder, and then try to delete some of the more useless apps. I deleted Launcher2, Amazon, etc.

Your /system folder needs more room in it to install the full theme. Your problem is space. Try deleting some apk files in the /system/app to free up space and tell me if that works for you.

so i LOVE this theme so far.

i modified it a bit and am running parts of it overtop kangerade. one thing i cannot figure out, is getting the top status bar back to being transparent (with a 70% alpha value)

i was able to get it transparent when its viewed on the lock screen, but thats it. everywhere else and its still opaque.

i tried switching to bugless beast (per the complete rom you provided), but still no luck.

i seem to have more luck with compatability without tinkering on kangerade, hence why im using it, but im open to changes :D

Sexy background, can you link me the image?

Also, where is everyone getting the little specialized time widget for this? The home screen digital clock?

If you scroll back up (or back a page or two) and look for the guy's reply to me, the link to the background is there. Also in that post (and answered a couple of other times in this thread as well) - the battery widget is called BattStatt and the clock widget is called tajm - both are by the same developer, and both are in the Android Market.

That background is nice! I scrolled through the whole thread twice and couldn't find it... and the guy who has that wallpaper only has one post on all of androidforums

Yeah, I apologize - went back through the thread and it appears as though an entire page has been deleted, including my request for that background and the subsequent answer. I also received a PM with a link to it, so let me see if I can find that...

EDIT: Nope, the private message is gone as well - methinks someone got themselves banned. Should still have it on my phone, though, I think.

Great theme! I love it, but there is a slight problem. Webpages will not auto-size the text anymore after I applied the theme. I'm pretty sure it worked with just BB. Any ideas?

Its been a week or two since I've used this theme, and I remember having this problem too. If I remember correctly, you'll have to flash the stock font package in order to get re-sizing to work again in the browser. If you don't want to do that, maybe you can test other browsers and see if they work. I'm pretty sure that Opera would resize the Evolution fonts. Dolphin may as well.

Hope this helps....

I'll have to try flashing the stock font package then because I'm using Dolphin now and it's not auto-resizing.

I'll update with the outcome.

[EDIT]
Okay, that fixed the problem and also another one that I had (I couldn't scroll down to see all of a text box with the keyboard open. Although now my theme doesn't look as prettttty now. Thanks!
