Root [THEME] ICS/JB-BROKEN OUT Theme *7/10/12*

Disclaimer: I am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone. You must take the necessary precautions before using this. I.E. make a nandroid backup of your phone. If you have any problems i will of course be able to help you out! :D


This is a WIP, but i plan to eventually have the entire phone themed as ICS to hold us off for an ICS ROM. If you like my work please hit the thanks button :). And if you have any problems feel free to post them and i will help you out!

Full ICS Look:
Combine this theme with HOLO Launcher and HOLO Locker from the play store!
And use ROM Toolbox or ill upload a link of the Roboto font ;)

Whats currently themed:
framework-res.apk
RES-cappucino.apk
SystemUI.apk

Needs to be done:
Text colors in some areas
ICS swipe to clear
Dialer
Transparent notification dropdown
Landscape notification icons
Settings icons
Recovery and screenshot in power menu
Finish power menu icons
any requests? ;)

How to install:
Download the files below
Copy them to your SD Card
MAKE NANDROID!
Flash from CWM Recovery
Reboot Phone
Enjoy :)

Like i said earlier this is a WIP if you find bugs, or have suggestions please feel free to post them! ;)

The second I copied over the framework.res file the phone froze and I had to pull the battery. It wouldn't start so I had to boot into CWM and recover.

Not sure if I did something wrong or not, just figured I'd let you know.

I was afraid that was going to happen. Ill have to create an update.zip sooner then later. I just realized you can't overwrite this files from within android. You can try an adb push or wait for the zip lol
 
Okay, i threw together a flashable zip real quick for you guys, please try it out and let me know if it works for you. :)
 
Just DL it and installed the zip

2 things, First it got rid of all saved app shortcuts on my screen (don't really care, just thought i should say that)
second, the battery bar is still stock, was is to be changed?

Wifi, 4g, signal is all changed and looking smooth.

Hmm that's weird. Lol ill look into that. And as far as battery its a WIP still lol. Most of then are themed but not all of them... YET lol. Now that I know it works ill be finishing up the rest of the status bar today and moving onto other system apps ;)

EDIT: I use Holo launcher and it allows you to backup your shortcuts and restore them lol
 
Hey I flashed this and working mostly, but after I rebooted my phone seems to be running elements of broken out rom, but I'm not running it ATM. So is that how its supposed to be or rs something bad happening?
 
darn, in for 1 if you decide to do the stock rom.

I assume the flash wont do any harm to the stock rom? So i can leave as is?
 
I'm not sure how this will look on the stock rom. If you guys have already flashed it post a screenshot or tell me what happens and ill see what I can do.
 
Hey this is weird, I manually put the framework and UI and guess what?

First, the broken out rom in the upper corner when idle is back but also, I CAN SEE MY PHONE CHARGING WHEN IDLE lol

I have the charging icon on the idle screen, so i don't have to check the status bar to see if my phone is charging.

So separate from the theme I owe you thanks just for that! lol.

Edit:- I meant to say, the MetroPCS banner is back in the upper right hand corner.

Lol your welcome bro. I finished up the framework and system hi complety and will reupload tonight. Now what's next lol. Contacts? Dialer? What does everyone want next?
