Sorry I didn't see this. I had the android apex rom which is 2.3.6 with a stable root. I flashed the them as instructions said and bam killahs theme

Does this theme flash on any 2.3.6 rom or only certain ones?

Only on stock (odexed) 2.3.6
That's the only I tested it on, and built it on
Edit: some people reported force closes, etc ... if you do this and get force closes. Use my debloated rooted backup and flash the theme and it should work

Aww, poop, I wanted to use it on AWO. Last time I tried it had a lot of FCs and I had to reflash my rom because I didn't make a back up like a dummy, lol

If you just installed the fresh batch of 2.3.6 Official Update Or Restored it
from a BackUp... -->Reboot recovery and let it head to the Homescreen then reboot back into recovery and install the theme (if not your phone will sit at the samsung logo)!

It means if had a backup of the Official 2.3.6 update and if you restored it, your supposed to let it boot up to the lockscreen then go back into recovery and install from zip...

alright I understand now.
I still have issues here though. I followed everything my carrier is metro as well.
ive mounted the system and installed everything. im stuck at the lock screen and my phone is vibrating like crazy and giving me crash reports. ive restarted the process like three times and same thing. I literally followed you step by step. am I missing anything? or what can you suggest?

Your supposed to install the settingsfix first then reboot system and let it go to the lockscreen then reboot back into recovery and mount system and install from zip (jbbased2012)

alright done. ive just started all over. my phone is just stuck on the samsung logo after rebooting, after installing settingsfix. it wont go past that.

Sounds like when I first tried to test GingerCream. Everything fc'ed... Literally. It listed off every thing in /system/app and /data/app and just died...(not literally Lol) But that was when I tested it on 2.3.4. Maybe use the simple upgrade tool if you already haven't? Maybe that will work?

Thats what the strange part it!!!
They all have in theory the same parts.
They all have been assembled to create the same end product.
Yet each device acts differently.
Cause: Individual use, data entry, active apps, memory usage, etc. etc.
Effect: Random code splits from systems and creates the ghost in the machine. Thus giving us a device that is always unique to the user but still connected to the source code from data connections.
Monarchy ensues as the ghost enslaves us with our handhelds and creates the dependency to survive through data manipulation. I.E. advertise. promotionalize. we the consumer have all the options we want and made to feel free. FREE CHOICE. FREE LIVING.FREEDOM. but our choices of having freedom are provided by the same people who gave us the freedom.
So whos free? Dont we still follow the manufacurers for our next choice of what they decide to give us and when.

Updated theme and op to make it a lot easier for new comers ... This theme is odexed - even though making a odexed theme is very difficult it self but most people don't really trust custom roms (afraid of bricks) so this theme is to show that theres hope for them. Enjoy
hey guys im totally new at this and i was wondering if one of you guys could help me out.. i want to get this theme on my admire but idk how? i am rooted and currently running the P.U.T.U-2.2 custom rom... will this theme work for that rom or what do i need to do to my admire so that i can install this theme... sorry for being such a noob but can someone give me a step by step on how to get to where my phone needs to be so that i can install this theme? please and thanks in advance I would really appreciate the help

Well 1 you should read every part of the post because it says it's for 2.3.6 but you're gonna have to flash the metropcs update for this phone that updates your firmware to 2.3.6 so you will lose all your data and stuff so if you like p.u.t.u just stay on it. But if you want this theme you're gonna have to download the update from here : Support - More Cell Phone Providers SCH-R720 | Samsung Cell Phones
And then root it and then flash this.
