Hi my location symbol disappeared and my face book wasn't working at all
I want to install the
LDK-ICK v1.3 ICS Hybrid/GSE Mod ROM
can someone tell me step by step what I need to do?
last time I tried doing this myself i got stuck on a bootloop
i currently have gingersteem extreme
don't re-direct me to another forum
cause ive read them before but still don't get them

honestly i am stumped about that lol it's not on ld-lg but its on this rom... it's not an apk and im not sure how to get rid of it but its stupid and i want it gone lol

I think you should just be able to flash this over GSE just like you can flash GSE over Gingersteem w/o wiping.
Backup your apps/data with Titanium Backup to be safe, boot into CWR, do a nandroid backup of your working GSE, then flash this just as you flashed GSE.
If that doesn't work, after doing the nandroid backup, do a factory reset then flash the zip.

I recommend u to do full data wipe then flashed like u flashed gingersteem extreme, back up bfor anything u should already have a bck up

Hey can you guys get pics of sms and contacts up.
ok so
1. go to recovery screen and back up
2. wipe data and cache?
3. install rom from sd
4. reboot
5. redownload all the apps i had before?
can u explain the steps between backing up and installing rom?

1.2 is all ldrifta (as far as the theme goes, rom was from pg, which was based on mt)
1.3 Kane joined the show to help him out
Beta expiries after a certain period of time. Is there anyway the Swype keyboard can be added to this ROM without worrying about it expiring

holy crap guys... im sorry lol i been so occupied with the 4g issue and it jus really was gettin me down i didn't even think to check this thread lol i left you guys hangin haha well i magically have 4g now so once i get proper root ill start updating this again and answering everyone's questions!!! im jus so happy i got 4g now because it saved me a lot of aggrivating phone calls explaining how i bought the phone from 'some guy off craigs list' and have no 4g lol i knew it worked but i jus had no proof or warrenty so basically they woulda told me to go F myself haha but i should be back in action in a day or so once i see whats up with zvc root

i took it out the rom... you can get it from the gse rom and just push the apk and lib file to your phone via adb, apk goes in system/app and lib goes in system/lib

If I start to dial a number in my contacts, a list doesnt show up or anything like that.

Is it me or is the battery drain on this rom kinda crazy while idle...the phone has been unplugged since early this morning with average use,15 minutes with 4g on,texting,and music,8 minute phone call,then idle in my pocket while working(checking texts now and then.) Note this is on stock battery, I am currently at 37% after 9 hours. A majority of the time I had data,wifi,sync,gps off while scaling set cpu at 652 max and 460 min and a screen off profile at 245max 245 min. I am also using lg optimizer as well and dont have alot of apps running in the background. On stock doing the above, my battery would last 15-25 hours at 9 hours I would have with light use at least 70%.

that happends to me too but even though you cant see the 1,2,3, you can still press in that spot and it will type it in then the box will go away. So i guess it doesnt bother me

Actually in the new updaate my battery lasted about 9hrs and i was using it most of the time but i had cpu set on 1706mhzmax and 125min but if you want to save battery life i suggest taking off the brightness& the animations off. i also put a task killer for every 30 mins

i posted a battery saver tip link on the op, basically this rom has a lot of eye candy and bright colors so yeah that + the kernel stock setting will drain a little more than normal so follow the instructions listed for sving battery..
