im going to hunt down the icon and change it see if that helps.. do you think if i just change the kernel and some of the framework files over, this rom could be completely compatible with zvc?

i think pg even said he doesn't think the framework was altered between the too versions.. so possibly the boot.img and like the lib, bin etc... folders..?

This doesnt happen in the stock ZVB rom. In fact, the stock LG dialer, contacts and groups does not even change landscape modes. The stock messaging app does change but not the others. I have Go Launcher and PG's kernal but stock rom (cant believe I havent switched yet lol).

So dunno if the included dialer etc on most roms (stock or otherwise) is suppose to change landscape modes? I checked my Ascend and it does change messaging but not contacts, dialer and groups.

I actually uninstalled lg optimizer due to the fact it was causing instability when booting(minor boot loop) I don't see a option to update the app and it still says supported model not detected...so I'm not sure what you mean by update it. Uninstalling has solved the boot issue.

all the apps are what is on gse except themed.. lol unless i changed something and forgot, sorry...

k put it bck on ur phone after that go bck to market go to ur settings my apps and c if theres an update for it that's how I did mines and I'm using LDK _ ICK V1.4 AND IT WORKS GOOD :confused:

Are you using the kernel this ROM came with or the homeless kernel. I'm using the homeless kernel with this ROM. Using this ROM/kernel combo seems to cause instability during boot using lg optimizer

k im using ldk_ ick v1.4 with homeless kernal
 
i already have a backup of the stock rom, should i make one with my 1.2 just incase when i flash 1.4 it gives me any problems (i doubt it though)?
 
ok it didnt let me make another back up. so i wiped and its flashing now


finished flashing. First thing i noticed is you took off the battery percentage on the status bar ):

only problems you would have are user-problems, the rom will work how it should if flashed on a clean system
 
Ldrifta I think I remember Kane saying he removed the location icon in his theme. If you used some of his work you may have used the 1 he deleted the icon out of.
Ill go back a few pages and see if I can find his post

There located in both framework_res and systemUI, you can just pull them from another source and theme them to fill the gap.

Lol sorry about that picture its not in landscape its in portrait, when i uploaded it AF made me resize it and it came out all distorted aha:o but it doesnt really take anything away from function i was just wondering why it does it lol :)
 
sorry for the long wait guys... but there is now a flashable theme for gse on OP :D the THEME's provided on all my threads can be flashed over GSE & my mod versions

ex: you can flash ldk-ick theme over gse or over the arctic mod, and it will delete & install the required files for the theme to properly work :D (thats includes the launcher)
