Does the connect even have root yet? If so I might could do a quick port of some of the stuff from this theme if you send me the systemui.apk and framework-res.apk.

I hope your talking about the font because I didnt do anything else to the keyboard? Or do you mean in the dialer?

If you are using the stock sms then try clearing the cache and data by pressing the menu soft key then pressing settings the applications and the manage applications then go over to the all tab and scroll down to messaging and press it the hit clear data and clear cache. I noted you said you were using go sms maybe earlier if you are using go sms try these suggestions here: Q&A
 
I'm using theGo launcherl but the stock sms. I went in & rebooted & that seemed to fix the problem. I do go in periodically & clear the cache & all that. It does seem to make a difference. More people should try that, they would be amazed how quickly their problems disappear lol
 
Yes, I was referring to the fonts on the keyboard & message screen. It takes some getting used to lol but I like it.

For a quick an easy change of fonts and some other ui items you should research UOT Kitchen...or if you have 5 bucks to spare rom toolbox is also great for changing things like fonts icons and it even has a few theme elements in it but I think you have to have pro to actually change things but rom toolbox free is a very powerful tool if you like tweaking and speeding up your rom. :)

Naaahh, gonna stay with your theme & all. Like it the way it is. A speedier ROM is always nice, but I don't know what I'm doing with tweaking a kernel. I OC just a little & that lets me do what I need.
 
In the op Ive added the stock fonts for anyone who doesnt like the fonts in the theme...also I added a different Statusbar and system font for v1.0.2 if anyone would like to try it out as well.
 
Well instead of pumping out theme after theme I just want to get this one perfect. I'm not very good with xmls and stuff like that but right now I am trying to work on the ICS settings mod as a separate flashable zip and built into the theme also what I want to do is move just the signal bars over to the left side of the statusbar. No promises on these updates as I am going to need major help in getting the signal bar swapped and I just am struggling with understanding the middle of the ICS mod guide so we will just have to see how it goes and I am playing on and off with the on the fly color changing and hide clock mod but I have had little success with it thus far and it doesnt look good but that is what I am working on. For some reason I had multiple versions of java on my computer but I cut them out and am hoping I will have better luck with compiling from now on as I kept getting many errors before. Anyways dont forget if you have anything youd like me to try just let me know and I will see if I can do it or not.

*EDIT* I forgot to meantion if anyone can/wants to help me with the mods I was talking about above it would be greatly appreciated and hopefully we can work together to get some sweet mods for our themes!!!

I know i said i wasnt going to work on other themes but im working on one for black plague now...i think that i might have bit off more than o can chew on thos one because i am theming alot of stuff its also going to have a pull down notification window that is familiar but i havent seen been done on the esteem yet! Well anyways thanks everyone for comments i do like to hear them! :-)
 
Check the OP out! I have updated the normal dialer for better resolution in the circuitry part! Also I have added an alternate dialer that will be featured in my E-Virus theme for black plauge!!! :burnout:

Welcome to AF bro!! First u have to be rooted,if you are already rooted download the theme that you want,if u downloaded the theme from your phone just boot in too recovery wipe cache,wipe dalvik cache then install zip from sd card then your gonna choose install from internal sd ,choose downloads and you should see that theme zip file that u downloaded click on it and install,after that just reboot your phone.
REMEMBER ALWAYS DO A BACKUP BEFORE INSTALLING ANY THEMES ;)

After rooting you should know that you need clockwork recovery. To get it just download Rom manager from the play store. Once you have it open it and tap flash clockwork mod recovery. Once you have that there is one more requirement for this theme and thats having Broken Out Rom. Download it flash it in recovery and then finally you can follow the helpful mrpnuts instructions. Note that once you have all this it will be a lot easier to flash roms and themes as you will not have to go through most of that again.
 
I checked out your theme ad said eeh that don't look to bad. i downliaded it to see how it actually looks on my phone. i put it over ldriftas no.2 that I'm rnning pg's plague+ on.. dude....seriously. this themes freaking sweet!!! omg i love it. know wha the best part is? The animations that you used! there's a few things i need to figure out but al in all this is the best thee I've seen so far

This is your first? wow I'm impressed. great job. i do have a gestion for you though. in my attached screen shot how do i make the 2 oddballs match? lol i know this is proaly due to usung a rom that your theme isn't meant for. thanks again
update ill have to upload from home. can't figure out how to from my phone. basically when i hit menu button in home screen 4 options are themed red. other 2 stock. i want to make them red too

Um, its either in the systemui.apk or the framework.apk i dont remember which. If you go to the atr sticky you can find guides on how to theme. If you cant find what you need to do there message me and i will try to help. Its fairly easy though.
