Ok, I can see the browser.apk in Superclean... my question now is, I'm sure I could unzip the Stock ROM and drop that file in, but then all I have to do rezip the package and apply the zip?

Simply dropping in the Superclean browser will really fix all the Bing issues, with the soft button and what not? I think that was what was being said, but just making sure it's that cut and dry.

Also, (sorry for gettin so offtopic in this Nextang thread), in some themes/ROMS, I'm missing the Samsung Buddies Now widget which I like. How do I get that one back?

yup, just make sure the browser is from the stock *deodexed* rom otherwise it may have issues.

you need to be using touchwiz launcher to use the samsung widgets

The browser I was trying to grab is from Superclean 2.4, and I'm dropping it into the EB01 stock zip.

I'm a little nervous because in Superclean, all i see is .apk files under app, but in Stock, there is both a Browser.apk file as well as a Browser.odex file.

Can you explain to me what deodexed means, and how to tell if a ROM is? When I'm seeing all these .odex files, what does that imply?

yeah you cant use the *stock* rom...you have to use the *stock deodexed* rom...its on xda [UPDATED] EB01 Stock Deodexed - xda-developers
 
On the Nextang theme, in the pull down menu at the top of the screen, what are the two symbols closest to the right? Up down arrows are data? I have no clue what the circular arrow with a dot is.

On the second homepage to the right there's also a widget.. what is the symbol second from the right that is two arrows making a circle?

1. 2nd to right data in/out...far right screen auto rotation

2. im not too sure what ur talking about on that one
 
Will this version of the theme work on ED01 or ED03? I was thinking of applying the community rom and then this. But... not if it'll mess things up. Not sure how compatible any of these older themes are with the newer builds
