Root {Theme}{Port} EB01 Nextang

I just can't figure out how to make it bigger...grrrr
 
I like this theme, but the only thing that kills me on it is that I cannot get handcent to match the other apps in my launcher. Is it possible to make the messaging icon default to handcent? (I swear I did this before).

I'm using ADW EX. Wish I could just change the activity of the messaging icon...

Yes you can but only the 1st time you hit the dock icon it will prompt you which messaging app you wanna use/default to

I was hoping after wiping and flashing a new version of SC I could redo this, but alas I am never prompted. This could be due to my restoration of adw ex settings. Also, I assumed I should be able to go into setting and clear the defaults for the messaging icon, but this is not an option. I am sure I figure something out.
 
I would like to use this theme without the themed apps. Can I just open the theme, go into system>apps and delete the whole app file?
 
hmm. Speaker phone not working with theme. Turns on for split sec. then off. I tried wiping, No luck.
 
Trying to avoid starting another "help me thread" here... I tried this theme again before asking if I could remove the themed apps. I decided to switch themes due to not wanting to not use those icons. So, once again, when I switched themes your themed icons stayed, so I once again decided to restore a backup (this worked for me before). Well this time it went into a continuous bootloop. I was able to get into cwr, so I did that and tried a previous backup and was back in business. But when I tried to flash a theme again, it went back into a bootloop. So now I am restored again, but would like to know if re-flashing my rom would be a good move at this point or if there is something else I should do. I've never had this happen before, so I have no experience with this. Guess I've been lucky up until now.

Are you sure you went into a bootloop? ( I know it sounds like a silly question but when I flashed this theme it took like 15 minutes to come back on, where all other themes have taken me 5 minutes max.

Well I have the android scribble/burst bootup ani and it was on it for a looonnnggg time and then started over again. I have never seen it start over and assumed that it was looping... am I right?

I have actually had the green/yellow scribble start over again. My recommendation would be try flashing a theme again wait at least 20 minutes then if it doesn't work maybe think about the rom.
 
Tried it again and it started over 5 times, So I restored the backup again, then reflashed sc2.4 and then was able to flash a theme again. I'm back in business and ready to try something else :) thanks!

Well sucks you had to go through that but glad your good to go now :D
 
Is there any way that I can get this theme working with TouchWiz? Is the way to do that by applying the theme over a ROM that is already using TouchWiz?

you can use this with touchwiz...i just didnt theme the touchwiz launcher and the soft key pop up menus might not entirely match...but it ll look ok otherwise
 
Sorry for being so dense, but was I right? Do I just need to find a ROM that uses TouchWiz? I was a little dismayed when I applied SuperClean 2.2 last night, and got "Launcher" (<is this a custom launcher) or "LauncherPro" options. Is there any eb01 ROM you know of that uses TouchWiz but also isn't stock? Don't want to go back to Bing...

You can use the stock deodexed rom and pull the browser from superclean to get rid of it
