Root {Theme}{Port} Purple Theme

Or if not white what about the color you used for/in Settings? That would have decent contrast too and be consistent with the theme.

yeah ill tinker with it next week for sure (the color) i have newer nextang out now, and newer mb is due as well, just waiting on new engraved pulldown icons from wickedbeav (hes friends with the theme creator)

The first time I tried unzipping it said there was an error, then I reopened metamorph and clicked - pick existing theme and the purple was there as a choice and it worked.

Let me know if it works.

Yes I got it now thanks. It looks good and blends well with the theme. However I might need a return to stock theme now or I might try someother ones. If I ever leave the purple theme Im sure I'll wanna change this but its working good for now.

Kinda leaning towards a more holiday theme-scheme so maybe a red or green. But the purple looks good for now.

Shhh, don't say that, I don't want nitsuj to stop making it! It don't see myself wanting to sway from it. I just bought a new purple skin for the phone to complete the look. I'm currently using that purple/blue silcone/hard case verizon sells, but the silicone is really annoying to take off everytime I want to do a battery pull.

haha dont worry, i knew purple wouldnt have a huge following when i ported it, but at least 8 or 9 other people in irc (besides xda) have told me they are using it for themselves or wives/gfs etc

its funny that dioi1 has been downloaded ALOT more than dj05...and di01 gets no updates :o

:pIts all good. He wont pull it or anything. Slightly off topic but why do you want to do battery pulls? I only pull if I have to usually do to tinkering gone bad.
 
That's usually why I pull too. I guess I should have said need, not want, since no one wants to have to do a battery pull. I guess I'm just really justifying buying a new case/skin.

wives/gfs huh trying to say this is a girlie-man theme :( ooh look more purple :(:(:(:(:(:( I guess I just like purple more than most guys

i think its a unique theme compared to what most of our available themes are....seems for whatever reason the sgs family of phones has a lot of minimal themes and dark themes...so a little color here and there is always welcome

Agreed. So almost off topic but no really since its your thread and Im asking about another one of your themes. re: nextang thats basically this theme orange everywhere this one is purple huh?

nextang is more of a hybrid revolution/nextheme in orange...icon wise at least....this is more of a purple nextheme

gotcha, I do like nextheme and retro does good work too. I used retro before I used mb and mb before this. Now Im stuck here. I am considering the red theme defcon or whatever its called but its almost not red enough if icon wise and notifications bar stuff. But anyway, good stuff as always

i *almost* ported one of those dx holiday themes, but seemed like a lot of effort to add another theme...retrokid must enjoy punishing himself maintaining like 6 themes :)

nice if you can, that might finally pry me off purple theme for a minute. I finally changed my wallpaper too, trying to get in the seasonal mood. Still not quite there though
 
big thanks to s44 for showing me a site that ive somehow missed UOT Kitchen that will enable me to totally redo the batteries for all of these themes to make them a lot better...including this one :)
 
if you guys would prefer i can go back to the original battery now with percentages (example below, even though its screwy cuz i used drocap instead of the sdk to show percentage) i ll shad it a tad better, but what do you think?

im thinking of as a final revision (i know i keep saying that :rolleyes:) of making 2-3 battery percentage types for each themes....ie round battery with percentage...regular battery with percentage, and maybe an alternate round battery with a different shape...ill see

but yes mb will see a battery update...beav said he should get me the engraved pulldown icons any day so once i have them ill update both versions to include updated text color as well :)

Yes I'd like to this. Its does fit better with the whole theme :)
