Root Theme Rom request...

Theme,Rom request... i need a rom or theme made up of the dallas cowboys...i know i know im sure whoever reads this is a big fan of other teams but owell im willing to donate if i can find someone to build it like i want or if you got some ideas...thanks in advance and look'n to make one for my wife something girly with girly crap...

Ha girly crap, just make a background with some useless designer high-heels lol.
And I'd go to mrpnut for this, i think hes good with girly stuff ;) lol

my wife is bugging the shit outa me...so i have two options learn how to make the roms and themes or find someone who will do it in there spare time..first option ain't happening..im done with software vb c++ all that crap im done with it...but thanks

Tell you what dude, even tho I hate the Cowgirls...I mean Cowboys I'll make one.. Either tell me in the best way possible on what you want for icons and or find me things youd want for icons and I'll see what I can do...

And the Hello Kitty.... *Beeeep* I hate you...I made a promise to someone that if I see someone ask for one and or I get asked by one more person I'd make a Hello Kitty for her...So Ill hold to my promise and make that one too. Tell your wife ShinySide hates her Ahaha jk

Give me like a week for both tho...Im free from my wifey for about 2 hours so I'll start finding some Cowboys images to use.
 
i can try nd squeez it in my crazy schedule if ya like :D but i probly wont over do it.. im thinking just the wallpaper, statusbar background and a few icons or something.. did you want anything specific?

icons the star you know with the colors.. background with the star with dallas cowboys under it something like that blue and silver for status and buttons (phone keys) with star stuff like that just tricked out with cowboys...sorry for other team lovers but hey this is your chance to get in on the fun..

ill help out as much as i can with images and icons i can make icons and stuff i just don't know what format they need to be in for them to work with your system...but let me know .....again thanks

In any format...I already started on it. Using their 5 Superbowl rings for the sound/wifi/bluetooth/gps/airplane in the drop down. In a debate on the 5 championship trophies for the dropdown background or some cheerleaders now Ahaha Im making it for B right now since thats what Im on but will put it on whatever rom your on which I think is D right? Also whats your wife on?

she is on zvc but im trien to get her to update...ain't lookin to good so i'm sure she will stay on zvc yes im on zvd.. and thanks again for doing this i would love to learn this and how to make themes and rom's but i don't have time to do it...

i would have never thought to use there superbowl rings your way ahead of where im at...dam i'm getting old lol ....well ill let you move on your doing good on your own..but i will be in the casa all day so i will be shooting some ideas maybe...
 
hey shinyside can you put a custom splash screen or a boot screen as the star or is that to much? can it even be done

Shiny sees those things that we all ignore. If anyone is perfect for the job, it's Shiny. No offense to others but it seems shiny has a lot of tricks and things at his disposal. :D

Splash screen (Like the lg screen when it boots up) no... Thats alot more difficult thats why hardly anyone ever changes it. All of thats in the boot.img and you have to decompile it and all that crap.... Boot animation tho yea I'll find/try to make something.

the splash screen is tricky lol your device is made to only be flashed once and never again lol so yes the images are on the boot.img, thats how they are installed to the device, but once they are there they will always be there (same as your charging images when phone is powered off).. even if you unpack boot.img and change what's in it.. you will not have a resulted change because the images are stored on the device already and will not overwrite..

the only option i can think of.. (not proven anywhere and im pulling it out my ass so dont try this lol) but my thought would be to adb push the new images to the bootimage directory on your device :D if you open astro or any type of file manager and get yourself to the highest root directory you will see some folders for boot image and charger image.

but it is extremely risky because we dont have access to these folders at all!!! so if you push any type of image/file that the device don't like.. you could find yourself in some serious doo doo lol

Yeah I got the status bar and drop down 99.9% done. Super bowl rings turned into a no go.. Resizing them just made them look like crap IMO. I had all the wifi/gps/bluetooth etc icons super bowl rings and when pressed/turned on it changed to super bowl trophies. But I mean it looked cool as hell but resizing the images made them look funny a bit. So I switched them to Helmets and when pressed change to stars. Just have one problem with the wifi icon resizing itself on its own to a bigger size then the rest so tryin to figure that out..... Was gonna do more last night but got distracted cleaning out my comp of unused or unneeded phone related stuff which took a while...I deleted like 70-80% of what I had which came up to 20 freakin gigabytes.I'll send you a screen shot of it so far so you can tell me if you want anything different. Still have to find battery/signal/wifi/gps/airplane mode etc etc icons for the status bar itself tho
