Root [THEME] Simple Blue 4.2, Simple Green 4.2 (10/26/11)

Also if you are using link2sd you will need to re-link library files and dalvik-cache!!!

Make sure to (backup first) delete the file install-recovery.sh and install-recovery.sh.org in /system/etc/ BEFORE YOU FLASH THE NEW THEME!!!! And it will run so much better plus you will be able to do a factory rest if you want!!!!

Alright! success! 4.0 is, as already stated, great! I also downloaded the gingerbread font and installed. The only issue I found with the KB is the ampersand symbol isn't listed as the "&" on the KB, it functionally works. just shows up as &.

Also, are there any other downloadable fonts? Are they phone specific; if not, could I download different apk files and install them the same way?

i can't find the install-recovery.sh.org in system/etc/.
 
FYI- The random FC vibrations i get when i wake the screen is because i hold my phone in my left hand and my little finger presses the camera button at the same time!! Go figure and i thought it was something to do with all the mods i was doing to the phone:D:o

now im not sure why those buttons together would do that and why if they do would they put them there in the first place?? O ya cause im one of a few lefty so im sure it was not in the design to make a left handed phone!! :D
 
nice work blue... but one problem.. in gmail there is no difference between read and unread email.. makes it hard to know what you have already seen.
 
Okay, got everything exactly the way I want it and no errors thus far. I simply restored my backup of EE14 with CWM and Hroarkernel, then reinstalled Shabbymod, then Simpleblue 3.1, then Simpleblue 4.0.

Haven't had an authentication error since either, will post if it pops back up for any reason.

Thank's again Blood, I love the theme and the boot animation blows me away.

Just the lazy side of me asking, but is there any way to make it so that when you click to enable Mass Storage you won't get a pop-up asking you to confirm? Idk if there is a setting somewhere in the phone either but I can't find it.

just the text for the notifications.....was gonna try uot....not sure how to just change font on there either lol.... i'd prefer knowing how to do it manually.

i don't have the files on this pc but i know there is another drawable folder with zz_stat in them. should i change those out too?

text for status bar and notification window is in status_bar.xml, status_bar_expanded.xml, status_bar_icon.xml and status_bar_latest_event_content.xml

the other icons your talking about are in drawable-ldpi. you can just copy the icons your gonna use in drawable-mdpi and put them in idpi too.. they have the same names

k ill try that xml when i get home. I was looking at your framework and noticed that for data in and out you have more icons then some of the other themes. Is there a reason for this? tanx again

Need your help Blood, I started with Shabbymod this morning and tried to first just remove CIQ. Bootlooped, unfortunately I had also been messing around with partitioning to no avail so I had lost my backup AND my phone is my internet so it took me all day to get the odin files and fix it.

Next I tried installing Simply Blue with the CIQ removed straight from the Odin EE14 rooted with Hroark's Kernel. Now instead of bootlooping I load in to my lock screen like it is going to work, sit through the vibrations and once they are done I unlock my phone and close all the popups from FC. Then I get a constant FC loop with android.loader and can't use my phone.

Any advice?

*EDIT* Flashed 3.1, and then 4.0 and no issues. Are the reboot options/Cyanogenmod widgets only in green though? I also don't get a boot ani, just the default.

nah, i just forgot to remove some of the useless ones. was in a hurry when i did the framework cause it was the last thing i did for 4.0

From the Rooted EE14 with Hroarkernal and CWM Odin recovery no one should have any problem flashing Simple Blue 3.0(boot the phone and let it do its thing) and then flashing 4.0.

I've done it several times now with no problem whatsoever.

Also, Blood, I would like to ask for your permission to put a link to your theme in my sig as well. I love it so much that I want to promote its use and get more possible donations in for you. I will be donating myself probably thurs :P

I think you overlooked my post. No biggie, just wanted to let you know about the gingerbread KB probs I seen.

yeah i saw, I'm looking into fixing that

as for the fonts. any android font should work. i think theres some font changers on the market and xda has some fonts too

don't expect anything to change the lockscreen clock font tho, cause of the way i coded it lol

Thanks for the New Simple Blue 4.0. Its really nice. Keep up the good work. May i ask if you can upload the the blue water wallpaper. My old wallpaper is default and i cant find the new one. Thank you very much for time. :D
