Root [Themed ROM] Bugless Beast Froyo v.01 - NexTheme

I haven't tried this, but I think it was just created using my theme .zip I dropped in the BB thread.

Not that that is a bad thing, but it will still have the wifi issue. If you're already running BB, you can just flash the 20mb file I linked in that thread.

They are both playing with someone else's IP. who cares. If you like it play with it...if you don't or want to be loyal to another chef, play with theirs. My double penny.
 
No offense Josh, and I am sure I speak for everyone else when I say this, I am sure this works well and looks great and am sure you did a nice job with it. That being said, I've become pretty loyal to Fab and will wait for his official release of this. I am sure you version is just fine, but I am loyal to a fault sometimes.

He posted it there to get test input. Wifi is not working properly. If you already have a connection setup it will connect, but if you try and connect to a new wifi signal or "forget" your saved one it doesn't.
 
I was just tired of the stock Android look so I decided to make this because I think bb is the fastest Rom and this is my favorite theme. Feel free to wait for fabs release, it doesn't hurt my feelings. This release is exactly what it will be.

Someone said wifi didnt work. Can you test this? Tell the phone to "Forget" your wifi and then try and reconnect to it. If it does, I think Fab needs help getting it to work for his theme zip. If it doesn't work you can restore data from titanium backup and it will connect again.

this is working perfectly. No problems with wifi or anything. I'm running this, but waiting for you on the edge of my seat to come up with something 'official', because i always do. This is hot, but yours will feel right haaaaaaaa. ps. how do I remove apps? Your froyo instructions didn't work and pete doesn't have scripts for all of them.

you can use the app "root explorer" to do that
 
Fab, I flashed that theme file you have in the BB thread. I've had a great experience with it. Now, I haven't tried forgetting my wifi or anything, I figure, why screw with something that isn't broken. The only place I use wifi anyway is at home, and that works. :) Just through I would let you know.
 
Hey justjosh, thanks for putting the time and effort into theming BB with NexTheme. I'm sure a lot of users will get mileage out of this.

Now, I'm a little confused at some of the criticism I have seen in regards to this release. :( Am I wrong or has Fabolous not released a "NexBeast" ROM yet? So this would be a ROM option that you didn't have before...right???

Some users are being rude IMO to someone who is trying to contribute something to the Droid community (and giving credit to Pete and Fab for the work he used...he credited manup too).

He never said he was going to gank Fab's throne! He said this:

I'm with UBRocked on this one. Everyone in this community is taking other peoples work and building on it. It's the nature of open source and creative commons licensing. The key is CREDIT, which Josh gave. Almost every single person who has ever created a theme started by working with someone elses to learn the process. Thankfully, that has led to several great themes posted in these threads. I only wish I knew enough to apply one persons them to another persons ROM. All this bashing will only keep the next guy who figures out how to do it from sharing.

Josh, I for one thank you for contributing.
 
This thread is exactly the reason I never considered getting into the ROM or theming business. It's THANKLESS! (Oh, and ... there's not enough ca$h in it for me either.) ;)

Thanks for the comments everyone. Basically yesterday I was excited that the bugless beast froyo rom came out. I consider this rom to be the fastest and most stable out of all the droid roms. Again, IMO and no offence to anyone else who has released a rom. I have just been spoiled with all the awesome themes and I just couldn't take the stock look. I have always used clean themes, like smoked glass and nextheme. No "clean" themes were available for froyo (imo) so I put this together and decided to share because a lot of people from here and droidforums were asking for it.

I never took credit for anything, I didn't do hardly anything compared to what the devs who created their work. I just put it in the package that I though was the best.
