Have you tried hitting the power button to put your Droid to sleep, then waking it up again? That always works for me.

Am i the only one whose battery last less than 12 hrs . Im running the 800 mhz . Only setspu profile is 400/250 wen in standby and task killer autokilling every 30 minutes .. my phone cannot last 12 hrs and thats on a day with 20 mins of calls and 40 texts i would say . Its so redic haha
I'm new to the root thing..I love this rom.I've been using this rom running the 800 mhz kernal for five days.I did have battery problems but did a battery drain and now its all good...but I have a question on the p3 kernals.can I install it without affecting petes scripts?and is it safe to install?
You should have no problem. I downloaded the P3 kernels from my phone straight from this website:
P3Droid Kernels
Guys i put the P3 1ghz Kernal on my phone about 3 days ago and is has been working beautifully. Temps are good, and the phone is fast. IT also didnt break anything in BBv1 from what i can see.
Just so we're clear... installing a P3 kernel will not break any of the tethering options and what not? Will we need to launch setCPU or will Adam's scripts be enough?
How worthwhile is it then?Using P3 kernels will break the CPU scaling (so you'll need SetCPU) and the memory free that load at boot.
I feel so stupid, now. I'm going to have to rescind my previous statement about my backlight LEDs intermittently going off and on. APPARENTLY, the backlight LEDs are tied to the phone's ambient light sensor. I did not know, and now I feel stupid.
Carry on. =D

Anyone else having issues getting app update notifications? I just looked at my dls in the market and saw that 5 apps had updates but I was never notified.
I say props to you for being honest about the "non-problem"! Most people would blame some gremlins and say "well, I rebooted and the problems gone" so they didn't feel stupid.
There are times when in relatively low lighting and after flashing a new ROM or something and you're on the lookout for things not working properly...that you wonder if the auto brightness is working right. I've taken my Droid into the a better lit room and then a dark room just to verify.
I only have 11 of my 40+ plus apps even show up in the Downloads. I used astro to back up everything but now i wont get a update for the app unless i re-install it.
I thought i remembered Fab talking about this somewhere but i cant find it.
btw how can i tell if the pete script is working? i consistenly only have about 34mb free whenever i check it.
Try using the "market doctor" feature of Titanium Backup.
