Ok, Chrome to Phone absolutely, positively F'n rocks

The link was down the past couple of days and today it works.
I have everything waiting to go.

Now I am going to want to sign into my friend's gmail account and when he gets 2.2 I can push "certain" websites to him at inopportune times.
Bwahahahahahaha

Anyone else having trouble booting in to recovery?

It's a common issue...one way to resolve it that works the majority of the time is to use ROM Manager to flash between SPRecovery and CW Recovery, sometimes a reboot between flashing is also needed.

IF that doesn't do it, OMJ posted a thread w/download links/instructions to manually flash the recovery...here in the Root section of Android forums.

The market is being weird for me. Nothing is installing, just looks like it is. Only the purchased apps show up in the downloads section, but when i go to get TiBu or Astro it says installing on the button at the bottom (greyed out tho) and the bar shows installing too. So I tried another app I had installed, same thing. So even tho they don't show up in the downloads section they are still trying to install.

Fab,

Long-time admirer, first-time installer - I've only run Pete's ROMs for any length of time, although I've tried CM and the ReDrUm mods briefly. I was always afraid to upgrade to NexBeast because I loved BB so much, but I was curious about Froyo's improvements, so I bit the bullet yesterday.

Did a Titanium back-up and nandroid backup, two data wipes, two cache wipes, then installed the CW backup, then flashed the 1.2 gig kernel, then updated the baseband, then rebooted. Hung on the white Motorola logo for a little longer than I was used to and I tried not to stress. Then it hung on the Droid eye for quite a while and just as I was about to panic, it booted up.

Waited patiently while my apps restored, then did a Titanium batch restore, then rebooted.

Wow. Just wow. I was going to wait for FroBeast, but I'm glad I didn't. Thank you so much for making me fall in love with my phone, all over again. And again.

Incidentally? I like FroNex, myself.

Should be soon.

No one having any issues with wifi, are they?

I never use wifi, so sorry I won't be of help.
Fab -
The nandroid that you put up - other than the Nex font, is there anything missing - at least not until BB?

I use DropTheme and the font is pretty nice, so that's not an issue.

Thanks
N

Thanks Redflea and OMJ worked fine.

Ok, signs are pointing to the fact that it's just my router that is jank.

So I'll have the rest of the files out soon.

So what kernels is everyone using? I had some bad luck yesterday which I was associating w/ kernels, so now I'm a lil gun shy. The stock 1GHz that came w/ the first NexFro was more than adequate.

Everything I've tested (pretty much every app) seems to be working great.
Wifi, tether, BT, Chrome to phone (sweet!), camera, market, maps, etc.
The only problem I have is an instant FC on the Mototorch led app.

Thanks Fab!

I seem to be having problems with WiFi, it lists all of the networks in range fine but it won't connect. And under Wi-Fi at the top, where you can enable/disable it, it's stuck on scanning. At least I'm assuming that it's stuck, I don't remember it constantly saying scanning before.

I tried it with both the stock kernel and the 1ghz in the OP, both with the same results. Other than that, everything is AMAZING!

Should I install the market fix???
