yes google search will work, not the newest one in the list cause that is for ics. Once you move the .apk to /system/app/ make sure you clean cache and reboot the phone and download the voice search from the market.

Dont try the mms.apk thats for the HTC phone.

I had to send out new requests. I only had 4 people on gtalk so it's not a big deal. Strange though.
 
I love the gmail one. I am literally doing the same thing to the newest gmail.apk, but I am having trouble with gimp(never used it before) any way I have a really good Swype theme from djdarknight(I think that's right) it goes good with pretty much any ics theme.

Yea i found some amazing ones as well but after speaking with moderator he tells me swype prohibits their product to be distrubuted anywhere else besides their website so in other words we are not allowed to share their free product anywhere. Also i took 40 min to figure out how to get rid of the stock system swype u gotta remove that before installing any themed swype. i used titanium back up pro to do that once its uninstalled reboot your phone then install the new swype and it smooth from there.

but i can still share pics of what i found hehe im using the green one to go along with my toxic green theme. Credits to this talented themer named thekdub

Are these dark knight? You can share the location of these, web site or whatever.

Nah from xda forums which i will add links been deleted by site mods since Swype has strict terms of agreement about distributing their product elsewhere. I did ask moderator permission to share links he the one that told me about the legal prob with that so sorry i gotta abide by forum rules or else :( but i just told him I'll share outside of the forums he told me to be careful Swype got mad lawyers watching around lol

is that that 1 dude from missouri that was a dj and from chicago? cuz his themes are nize but didnt capture my attention lol his green version isnt as impressive as the one im using but he does got some nize ics themes.

besides that i almost installed a custom themed gmail apk which made it transparent :D

credits to B-boy™ which u can get his custom themed stuff on droid forums just rename your gmail to gmail.bak or gmail.backup or whatever then from sd card install the new custom one and reboot and it should work flawlessly check it out tons of colors to choose from!!

also has any1 else received a newsletter from phandroid about the Lg motion 4g phone?? i dont remember signing up to get news about it but anyways seems useful.
 
Ever since I installed this Gtalk, my contacts will not show up when inside Gtalk. I reinstalled the original and same thing. I deleted it all together and reinstalled and same thing. I only had 4 contacts in there but im not even receiving the invitations from them nor are they receiving mine. wtf? But yet the 4 contacts are synced within my normal contacts list with their gmail account.

I dont know what else to do. ???
