Root *theming* help with defualt bg

I need help changing the defualt back ground in my theme, i set it in framework-res but it doesnt change, and on top of that it makes my /system/app folder where i cant change the stuff in them
some one help please

In the framework-res, the default bg should be the one in the drawable-mdpi folder.
 
Yeah that's the one I would change and in the apk it stays but it doesn't change on my phone


Check in the drawable-ldpi folder. If Im correct it's it two or three places in the framework-res. My recomendation, copy your framework.apk to your sdcard, then put it on your pc, make your changes, replace on sdcard. Then use your root file explorer to copy it back to your system/framework folder and reboot.

You should reboot anytime you modify any system files.
